I love this project. Your doing it right! If you don't mind me sharing I built a 2 lane blacktop car as well. I used the old revell 55 chevy. I know it's a hard top but I at least added a b pillar . Besides the body being incorrect, it was my first time kit bashing as well. i will remove if im interrupting.

Welcome. I know when I first joined the information was overwhelming.

These are some drawings I do when I'm board. Most of these maybe even all I drew from memory. They were all done in a wide ruled composition notebook. Thanks for looking, comments welcome.

I love what your doing with this but personally I would have just built the amt 289 cobra. I get it that ones 1/24 and ones 1/25 but I wouldn't mind the difference. Hey, but I'm not you, you don't have to listen to me. Anyway good job. -
Nice weathering skills ?.

This is crazy. Even though I'm a Ford guy this still screams awesome. Your milling work is spot on (I don't even know how to use a mill). This detail is next level. Good job. -
This is absolutely crazy. I, like everyone else here am speechless. If any car deserved this talent it's a johan ford maverick. Nice work, looking forward for more!

This turned out awesome. Was this a memorial build for Ken Blocks death (RIP). Anyway this looks like the real thing. When I was building my version of a similar kit (firestone 78) I looked at this post and others for the short bed. Thanks for the inspiration. Here's a pick of my build.
