  1. That is awesome. No more crazy than a big block in an English sports car (Cobra anyone?). Very cool.
  2. Evidently the market for an all-automotive channel isn't there, capitalism will win out after all. I think it's indicative of the decline in motorsports viewing and interest in cars in general. Bummer.
  3. Funny they were using wide-whites for the race and it appears the left headlight is still missing in the racing shot. Shows that you need to be skeptical of modern restorations, though. Great pics.
  4. I just found this one, what a great job. Perfect stance, love the interior. Very nice.
  5. Nice job. Great looking model of a not often seen subject.
  6. Welcome to the site. You won't find a finer bunch of craftsmen, and everyone is willing to help. Looking forward to seeing your work.
  7. Nice looking car. Great job on the interior and under the hood. Kudos!
  8. Looking forward to more, great paint so far...
  9. Him and everyone else from 3rd on back How in the world did Biffle get through that?
  10. Lowriders aren't my thing but this is awesome. Great photography too!
  11. Great model. I love the ones of cars of our past. You nailed it.
  12. I knew Dave would know!
  13. Looks good. Black is tough to pull off.
  14. Great build, land ho!
  15. Hey Niko, this is the only shot I've found of the interior of Herb Thomas' Hudson. It appears the back seat is removed but no change to the front. If you go to Randy Ayers site and surf "Darkside" there are a lot of exterior pics. It also appears the engine is basically stock as well, I can't tell about roll bars but I don't see any? Hope this helps.
  16. I'm with you Chuck, I used to own a '71 that I drove the wheels off. I'm loving that Moebius is filling a void.
  17. Nice restoration job.
  18. I've been in cable TV for 33 years now. Started as an installer, moved up to maintenance (bucket truck), then to headend. Now I'm the construction coordinator building outside plant in our systems in central Vermont. When I started cable was 10 channels of off-air TV for $5.75 a month! Things have changed some.
  19. Great looking car, you did a very nice job on it. I always liked the Taurus body style.
  20. Very convincing, nice job of 'weathering'. Looks like it must have been a short track
  21. Great looking car Tommy. Tony is my favorite of the current drivers. I miss Pontiac (and Olds, Buick, Plymouth, Mercury, et al)
  22. Excellent job, clean build. Looking forward to more from your bench!
  23. What kills it for me is shipping. I have many kits I would sell for a song just to make room but by the time I figure in shipping costs they are not such a bargain for the prospective buyer, kind of the same thing you run into on ebay. I am going to list a few on there however just to see how it goes.
  24. Looks good so far
  25. PM sent
