  1. Great looking car. I can't remember ever seeing another 'non-wing' sprint car. Nice job.
  2. Which decal messed up? I might have a spare I can send. Is it a Monogram 1/24 or an AMT 1/25?
  3. Great job. Love the one headlight open, very realistic!
  4. Very nice. I'm not a big low-rider fan but this came out sweet. Great color scheme.

I like it! Pics are a little fuzzy but it looks like a great job.
  6. This and the 57 Ford are at the top of the 'must have' list for this year. Showroom stock first, then NASCAR versions at a later date. Separate frame, nicely done steelies, the engine looks very nice. I love the delicate hood ornament (without flash). Are there parting lines on the bumper? Overall I'm impressed.

Very nice model. Less clutter in the backround of the photos would make it look that much better.
  8. I agree, nice color combo. But it does look a little weird without the wing, kinda nose-heavy. Needs the wing to balance it out.
  9. LOL ! Well, that'll happen on the big jobs
  10. Very nice build Robert. I like that you kept the 6-banger under the hood. Great color combo as well. I might have gone with a contrasting color for the interior, but that's just me.
  11. Looking good. If it was me I would use a 1/2" brush and brush paint the inside, you can barely see in there anyway and flat black goes on pretty easily. I've learned over the years to paint the interior of the body first thing before I do any outside prep. It's easily touched up after the bodywork and paint is done.
  12. What, a non-Labonte car?! Looks good John. Whitcomb was a favorite son up here in New England as his company was based in New Hampshire. I think it was Frank Stoddard as crew chief IIRC?
  13. Wow. Seeing them all listed in one place kind of puts it in perspective. Like you said, some of the more recent ones would be easy, but some of the older stuff? And what about decals? I've been a Cup fan since about 1979, but there's a whole bunch of names here I've never heard of. I'd start with Google image searches, Randy Ayers site, and possibly this one http://simracin40.proboards.com/index.cgi Best of luck!
  14. What year did the Monte's go from the notchback to the aerosedan? Had to have been 84-85 as the notch proved unable to compete with the new 83 T-birds.
  15. Outstanding job Jonathan. Looks very good, great paint job.
  16. That's better than Junior, too many of those out there already
  17. Great build Clyde. Coming along very well, looking forward to the finish line.
  18. Nice clean work Jonathan. Looking very good.
  19. Looking forward to it. My old boss in high school was a 50-something librarian who's hubby worked at Delco, thus getting an employee discount on GM products. One day she came home with this exact car! We were stoked, I remember it fondly.
  20. I agree, very nice model. Not my favorite MC body style but sharp none-the-less.
  21. That is AWESOME! Completely over the top. Curse you, now I have to figure out how to build this!

Great job. Love the engine. Not a big fan of the sparkly paint color but the execution is excellent.
  23. Great model! Nice clean build.
  24. Very nice clean build. Great job.
