  1. What a stunning and immaculate pair of Chevys. The 55 in particular showcases the interesting variety of colour combinations available on cars of this era. Top stuff. ??
  2. There’s been some awesome builds of this kit posted on here, and yours continues that trend, loving the black with white stripes. ??
  3. That is a tuff looking Charger, staggered width rims look great. Are they aftermarket or from another kit? Cheers, Stu.
  4. This just looks spot on. The dark green with the simple black interior, just looks right.??. Nice work.
  5. Hi Michelle, another good build there, always interested to see how you put parts from other kits together to make something else. You’ve captured the look of the XC Falcon Cobra nicely. They’re a very highly prized muscle car here in Australia ( and highly priced! ) Cheers, Stu.
  6. All you need now is a guy in Buddy Holly style glasses driving and a shady looking dude toting a shotgun out of the window! Seriously though, that is a nice smooth looking Charger. Paint looks superb. Cheers, Stu.
  7. I think it was around 6 coats, it was a nice warm day and I was spraying several bodies at the time so I lost count a bit. First two were light mist coats as I’ve made the mistake of going too wet too soon in the past with the TS-13 only to have it fry my decals. ? ( won’t make that mistake again ). Cheers, Stu.
  8. Cheers David. Sweet looking Galaxie by the way, nice and low. ??
  9. That El Camino looks spot on, that Tammy pearl blue suits it perfectly, sort of period correct with the Cragars. ??
  10. There’s one like this, only it’s light blue getting around my neighbourhood, guys probably had it for years, but yeah, not too many around now. Oh, that is a nice build too. ??
  11. G’day Terry. I’m a big tri 5 Chevy fan and yours is excellent, you’ve replicated the patina on the real 57 perfectly on your build. Hats off to yourself and your friend Roger on a great job.??
  12. Beautiful build of a classic Chev. I’ve been looking for this kit, hard to find here in Australia. Hopefully Revell will re release it down the track.
  13. Love the realistic rust. Something I’m still learning to do. Sometimes I think it’s harder to do a beat up vehicle than a show car.
  14. That looks wild! Love it.??

G’day Allison, yes, gonna go the white with mine with blue Shelby Cobra style stripes, sort of a tribute to the original Shelby Mustangs.
  16. G’day Michelle, nice XK Falcon ute there. I remember a lot of these on the road when l was a kid, very hard to find a good one now, all succumbed to rust l guess. As for a suitable straight 6, maybe the 6 cylinder in some Moebius F-100 kits would work?
  17. I’m not familiar with the movie, so l looked it up. Looking at images of the original and then at your ‘55 here, I’d say you nailed the no nonsense ready to race look for sure.??
  18. Great looking Charger. Looks good in the magenta, ( close enough to Panther Pink ) nice texture on the vinyl roof too.
  19. G’day Michelle. Another nice build. One of my favourite Aussie cars. Dart body with Aussie designed front sheet metal and grille. Had one back in the 80’s, and my uncle had a VG Pacer 2 door, I love these 2 door Valiants, classic style. It’s probably one reason why the 68-69 Dodge Darts are my favourite US mopar of all.??
  20. I’m in awe of the BMF work in this one. Those 50’s and 60’s cars certainly had some bling on them! Foiling is something I’m still coming to grips with and the “blue tape” method you mentioned is something I plan on trying on my next build. Thanks for sharing.

G’day Allison. Good looking Mustang you have there, I’ve got this kit in the stash, haven’t built it yet though. Cheers,Stu.
  22. G’day everyone. One of my more recent builds. It was going to be a factory stock Lucerne blue with blue interior T/A. Unfortunately, to my horror I realised I’d applied the “Trans Am” decal too high on the rear spoiler (after I’d sprayed several coats of clear on the body and sealing the decals!) Also, l just wasn’t happy with my detail painting of the Pontiac rally wheels. Annoyed, I shelved it. After purchasing some micro mesh polishing cloths, I decided to practice using them on the Trans Am body as I considered it just a test mule. It ended up being probably the best paint job I’d done after playing with the micro mesh cloths! So it was resurrected and fitted with the custom wheel option that came in the kit and lowered slightly at the front. Came out okay even though it wasn’t exactly what I’d planned. Thanks for looking, any comments appreciated. Cheers, Stu.
  23. G’day Alex. I like this one a lot. You’ve captured the look of a vehicle that’s been sitting out in the elements for a long time very well.??
  24. G’day Michelle. Nice build of what Max may have pieced together after the end of Fury Road. The copper tones convey the surface rust on the body shell nicely. ??
  25. G’day Alex. That looks awesome! Reminds me of the vehicles in the movie Mad Max Fury Road. Excellent rat rod. ??
