G’day everyone. Just finished this one. Built OOB except for the Pegasus wheels. I modified the kit suspension to get it nice and low, finished it in Tamiya ts-20 with ts-22 flames airbrushed on with the help of a lazy modeller mask and cleared with ts-13. 57 Chevies are one of the few cars l think look good with flames and I’m pretty happy with how it turned out. Thanks for looking and any comments welcome. Cheers, Stuart.

The Aussie Falcon hardtops always look good in black! Another cool build from the workshop of Michelle. ??

So you grafted a styrene roof on to a diecast body? I’m impressed, would have taken some planning to pull it together. The end result is awesome cool!

Excellent work on a much loved movie car. Top stuff.??

Stunning. The colour and that interior is awesome, wish I could get my model interiors like this. ??

These have hit the hobby shops here in Australia. Got mine yesterday and it’s typically Tamiya high quality. Nice features include the two piece wheels to make painting easier and metal air induction tubes for the triple carbs. Cheers, Stu.

Stunning attention to detail on the flathead. The paintwork, interior detail, superb.??

That is a very tidy Malibu, that Tamiya light blue pearl suits it nicely. Looks almost like a 1/1 in the last pic. Top stuff.??

Might raise a few eyebrows at the rego inspection as well! Seriously though, nice clean looking build all round.??

Nice clean build on the Impala Uwe. Those tailpipes, have you used metal tube? They look quite realistic .??

Built 20 years ago? Still looks great. Nice Shelby. ??

That is a sweet looking Pontiac. ?? The colour suits it. Thanks for sharing. Cheers, Stu.

G’day Uwe. Your 55 Chevy is so neatly presented, I wouldn’t have noticed the decal mix up. Cheers, Stu.??

Hi Michelle, l think you’ve done a superb job of modelling David’s XY Falcon. I’d like to see how you build some of the DDA kits available here in Australia, but as you’ve said you can’t get your hands on them. l certainly enjoy checking out the Aussie cars you do build with what you have available. Keep ’em coming. ??

Thanks everyone for the kind comments on the 29. I’m about to make a start on the Revell 32 five window Coupe and am planning on a more modern style for that. Cheers, Stu.??

Hi Michael. I do have the ‘30 Coupe in the stash, my dilemma is whether I build it as a Ratrod, or as a clean shiny street rod. Either way, I’ll post it here when it’s done.??

Beautiful work. Haven’t seen one of these on the road in years
