Stunning. Beautifully built 32. Yes, those lazy modeller flame masks are very easy to use, I’ve used them on my model A roadster and 57 Chev builds. Well done on a great looking deuce.👍🏻

The Olds is looking a little better now. After painstakingly removing all traces of my botched attempt to paint it some time back, I had another go at it. I really wanted to build it matador red with black stripes so with a little bit of trepidation I applied 4 coats of Tamiya TS-8 Italian red and this time I’m happy with the result. After applying the decals I’ve put a couple of mist coats of TS-13 clear over them and will slowly build up to a final wet coat .

G’day Len, I still paint the bodies first for exactly the same reason.

I’m really enjoying following this then and now build of this iconic car. Lots of awesome little details and techniques I’d like to apply in my builds. Top stuff. 👍🏻
