AMT 1955 Chevy Bel Air Two-Tone Brown, in 1/25 Scale.

Beautiful looking 55. Inside, outside and in the engine bay. ?? -
Well done Michelle. The VH Valiant hardtop is a rare beast indeed, but such a great looking car. The secret with Vegemite? Spread it thinly. ? Keep the Aussie cars coming, always enjoy seeing your interpretation of the cars l grew up with.??

Weather was nice today, got some paint on. Happy with the colour, should look nice cleared and polished up. Time for a mock up. -
I really like the old school feel to this one, nice maroon paint, detailed flathead and wire wheels. This build makes me want to get a copy of this kit for myself when they arrive in Australia. Thanks for sharing this one. ??

Cheers Greg, thanks for that. Will do a test fit before committing to glue. ?? -
Great looking Vette. Colour suits nicely.

Poor little Nova’s had a hard life. You’ve replicated the neglect and abuse that cars like this are subjected to beautifully. ??
-
Well done Michelle. The 6 cylinder is on point too, as the base model HG GTS Monaro had a 186 cube six. ??

G’day David. Triple black is the holy grail of colour combos in classic muscle cars, and if there is a 69 Pontiac GTO out there in this combination, it would look awesome, because your excellent build certainly does. ?? Well done and thanks for sharing this one.

Nice work! Turning it from a curb side kit into one with full engine detail certainly makes it look awesome. ??
-
Nice work. Yours is certainly proof that snap kits can be built into a good looking model.??
-
You certainly did it justice. Looks great, I like the colour choice as well.??

Awesome! I always look forward to your builds here with the signature LED lights. The headlight doors on this one would have put an extra layer of complexity to it I’m sure. I can see why your family won’t let you build one without the lights now. ??

I’m loving this one! I admire the creativity and effort in the scratch built extra detail and how the butternut yellow paint and saddle interior trim look together . ??

Pretty happy with the way the wheel tubs turned out. I plan to spray the body when the weather conditions allow. -
G’day Michelle. Looks good, especially around the rear end , you’ve nailed the shape of the tailgate and taillights. I used to catch a lift to work years ago with a workmate who had an HK wagon same dark blue as your model. The poor old thing must have had a hard life as it was full of rust and was eventually defected off the road by the police.

These look awesome! Thanks for sharing them. ??

I always have a soft spot for black paint with red interior, and as others have said the unintentional dark appearance of the Alclad chrome just works.??

I didn’t know of the existence of the Maserati Boomerang . Very interesting looking car. The colour of your build looks nicer than the silver of the original car. ??

Love the look of this one, patina is great. I’m looking forward to seeing this release in the hobby shops in Australia. Thanks for sharing. ??

Got a start today. Because I’m going to sit it down low and with the width of my chosen wheels, I’m going to have to tub the tray. The necessary cuts seem to have gone well, just a little bit of clean up.I had some styrene sheet on hand so l had a bash at making the tubs. Only problem l had was the curved sections had to be heated over steam to make them more pliable, but l was still pushing the limits bending them around this much, but I’ve glued them together and trussed them up with tape and I’ll leave them overnight. Should be okay. cheers, Stuart.?? -

Thanks Bob. Yes, just a mildly customised truck, and I’m interested to see how that metallic orange turns out. -
Smooth 39 sedan delivery there David, love that 427. ??

These always look great in the high impact colours, top looking Challenger. ??

Looks great! Vinyl roof sets it off nicely. I gotta be brave enough to try a vinyl roof on one of my builds.
