  1. G’day Michelle, interesting concept. If Revell or another manufacturer releases a 2025 Dodge Charger kit then l believe you should build it as your drawing here.??
  2. This is a really good looking Mustang. A simple clean build with attention to detail. Top stuff. ??
  3. That paint is like glass. The engine detail is superb. ??
  4. Oh yeah, that’s smooth. Removal of the ribbed Belair side panel trim is a simple but effective touch.
  5. Thanks David. I guess it stems from my earlier modelling in military aviation, where I’d thoroughly research the subject for as much accuracy as possible. I looked at a lot of images of small block Chevy engines to make sure it looks realistic on my truck.
  6. Using the engine in the kit, but I’ve dressed it up with a pancake style air cleaner and black valve covers to make it look less stock. Also, I thought I’d have a go at a pre wired distributor for this project, I’ve seen some nice wired engines on the forum and it does seem to make an engine bay stand out. Couldn’t find anything here locally, so I got a bunch of Protech ones from the US, ( you guys have all the cool aftermarket stuff! ) l found it reasonably easy to fit and I’m happy with the results, so I’m going to use them for future builds, especially on Hemi’s and Fords as the dizzy is rather prominent on those engines. Thanks for looking and any feedback welcome. ??
  7. Nice Vette. Sometimes it’s more satisfying if a kit fights you a bit and you come out on top as you have.??
  8. Great build. You’ve replicated the original nicely. I agree with you on the original rod, it’s understated yet impeccable appearance makes it stand out from a crowd.??
  9. Interesting to see one of these Chargers. The flush rear window and headlights not hidden behind the grille certainly makes it stand out. Very tidy build too. ??
  10. That’s awesome. A real 60’s custom. It’s also cool that it’s survived all these years. Thanks for sharing that one.??
  11. G’day David, just been looking through your past XYHARRY tagged builds. You’ve got a great collection there but l took a particular liking to this 55. The beige and white colour scheme looks great, sort of like a period factory colour and sitting nice ‘n low the way l like them. ?? Good stuff.
  12. Excellent colour, and those hood hinges are beautifully done. ??
  13. These are great kits and your pair of model A’s look amazing. ?? I’ve built the 29 (l have the 30 in the stash) and it was probably the most enjoyable kit I’ve made.
  14. Got the interior painted and finished. I scratch built a floor shift, curved for a bench seat.l also added a custom steering wheel from the parts box. Colours are a combination of Tamiya ts-3 and as-22.
  15. Thanks Carl, colours a little darker than I expected but I’m really happy with it.
  16. G’day Topher, the suicide doors and forward opening hood on Pearly Gates are an interesting touch. ??
  17. Thanks Brian, I’m a big fan of US pickups of this era.??
  18. I’ve reworked the kit rear suspension to get it as low as possible without slicing into the chassis Drilled into the front spindles and put some styrene rod into them to get it down at the front. This is the resulting stance. Should be good.
  19. Some builds go together beautifully……and some you just feel like doing “Hulk smash” on. Perseverance and determination paid off in this instance as your GTO looks awesome. Nice tidy vinyl roof as well. ( I’m working up the courage to try one on a build). Thanks for sharing this one .??
  20. G’day Michelle, you’ve captured the look well on this one, the “ sail panels” on the rear roof pillars and the tail lights in particular are unmistakably Valiant Charger. It was the last model sadly, but for me at least, the best looking. ??Good stuff.
  21. Very tidy build. The B5 blue always looks good and those Mopar rally wheels are nicely detailed. ??
  22. Beautiful looking 55. Inside, outside and in the engine bay. ??
  23. Well done Michelle. The VH Valiant hardtop is a rare beast indeed, but such a great looking car. The secret with Vegemite? Spread it thinly. ? Keep the Aussie cars coming, always enjoy seeing your interpretation of the cars l grew up with.??
  24. Weather was nice today, got some paint on. Happy with the colour, should look nice cleared and polished up. Time for a mock up.
  25. I really like the old school feel to this one, nice maroon paint, detailed flathead and wire wheels. This build makes me want to get a copy of this kit for myself when they arrive in Australia. Thanks for sharing this one. ??
