  1. The book is titled "Ferrari-Road and Racing" by Winston Goodfellow, it was offered by Collectible Automobile magazine. I paid $24.95 plus shipping. It's a nice hardcover book, It has pictures, history, and specs of every ferrari road car and pretty much every race car Ferrari ever built. If you love Ferraris this book is definitely worth the money, and is a decent source for photos for building.
  2. I just received my copy of the Ferrari book. It has pictures and history of Scuderia road cars and race cars. It's a 300 plus page, hardbound book with good info and beautiful photos of some of the nicest cars ever built. Lots of reference for some of the kits I have.
  3. I paint using automotive urethane clear. I have done white base coat/clear coat and they don't turn yellow.
  4. Great job, nice color. I've bought a couple of those kits for wheels, tires and parts. I might just build one OTB.
  5. I just got my order from ProTech in the mail today. Quality stuff, worth the money. Can't wait to use some on the 41 Chevy truck I'm working on.
  6. My son and I are very dissappointed that Michael won't be sitting in for Ferrari. But I understand his concern for his health and for the safety of the other drivers if he is not up to his total best. Michael was and is a class act and in my opinion the best F1 driver of all time. I used enjoy watching him race, he really raised the bar in Formula 1.
  7. Wow 93Z34, I thought Hobbytowns prices were high! That guy is shooting himself in the foot.
  8. One of our club members is compiling a disc. Will post some as soon as I can.

  11. Sounds like a great kit,I have my order in with my local hobby shop. I can't wait, I know I will buy more than one.
  12. I currently own a 97 Crown Vic ( I love big cars) and have owned a 92 Grand Marquis. My son and I are in the process of modifying his 04 V6 mustang, and my brother owns an 07 GT. They have been and are reliable cars. I used to drive Chevys (65 Impala,69 Chevelle, 78,79 Camaros) but I like the new Ford products, they seem to be better quality than GM. I have to give Ford a big thumbs up for not taking any government money. If I were in the market for a new car right now, I would seriously consider A Ford product. Washington can't take care of themselves, they are definitely going to screw up GM and Chrysler. You can kiss any performance cars goodbye (Challenger,Charger,Camaro, etc.) They will be trying to shove green junk down our throats.
  13. Nice ride! Perfect color choice. Good Luck with it and enjoy it.
  14. You can put one in my garage,I like it. Definitely not your average family sedan.
  15. Those wheels and stance give it a 60's nostalgic look, I'd leave it like that.
  16. I'm a big Ferrari fan and I can't believe it either. But I will be rooting for Ross Brawn's team, he was great in gettting Michael to 7 championships. I think he will be just as successful as a team owner/principal. The Red Bull team was unstoppable in the rain, and the Toyota's aren't doing bad either. I think it's good for the sport to see other teams and drivers accel. I am glad that Wonderboy is getting a dose of reality, he's a good driver but he's not the "Best driver in F1" (his own words). It's going to be interesting to see how the season finishes out.
  17. Well want goes around comes around. Mclaren are having a tough time this week also, they have qualified poorly again. Like I have said before, I'm a big Ferrari fan but I like seeing all the other teams mixing it up. I think this might be a good season for some of the other talented drivers to have a chance to show what they can do.
  18. One word to describe your build,SWEET! Really nice looking cruiser.
  19. I couldn't stay awake to watch qualifying, but I went to the F1 website this morning. WOW what a shake up from last year. Ross Brawn was brilliant when he was at Ferrari, looks like he hasn't lost his touch. He must have figured out the something about the new cars and rules. I bet WonderBoy wasn't too happy.
  20. Friday practice is done. If this is a indication of how the season is going to play out, it's going to be good. I hope all the teams are competitive.
  21. If Hamilton goes to Ferrari that would suck. His head would never fit in his helmet. I'd root for Massa twice as hard, and any other driver on any other team. But if Kimi leaves Ferrari, I would rather see Vettel get the seat.
  22. I just bought these kits but haven't opened them yet. Should I open and build them or take them back? Would like some of your opinions. Thanks.
  23. I kind of like the current points system, it' simple and pretty fair.
