  1. Seeing a Torana in the Forum is a nice surprise. Great work
  2. The body in my example is perfect.
  3. That was a steal at $8. I've got one in my stash and for a 80s kit it was all but equal to any of Tamiyas' kits of the time. Even looking at it by todays standards its an impressive effort by Monogram
  4. Sounds like a quick and easy way to widen fenders so I must give it a go. Thanks for the informative tutorial
  5. Nice Merc
  6. creativity at its best. Thanks for sharing
  7. I guess two of them is better than none
  8. Looks like you have the photos sorted. Lets see some more of what looks like a cool ride.
  9. Thanks for the unboxing photos. I'd love to add this one to my pile. Hopefully the yen will drop in value making it more affordable. I'm wondering if anyone will bring out a FXX trans kit for it. The number of potential sales and price point of what it would cost might negate the possibility. Who knows though. Fingers crossed.
  10. Nice build. Everything sits just right
  11. We were running a thread on the differences a few weeks back...... http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=55366&st=20
  12. Thanks for putting in the effort to post your box opening videos Dr Cranky. They are much appreciated.
  13. I've been ordering online off HLJ for a decade now. Every order has arrived in a sturdy box with out an issue. If I select EMS I can track the box all the way and its here in 3 to 5 days at most.
  14. Nice to see a fellow modeler from the colonies joining in here.
  15. Thats interesting. I have a couple of the more common Fujimi Enthusiast series Porsche/ Ferrari but was completely unaware that there was a Stratos in the series. Its a wonder Fujimi isn't more active in re releasing these models.

    62 Belair

Thats a real nice Lowrider. Looks so right in black and red
  17. Zero paints. Ridiculously easy to apply and he ships to the colonies
  18. My Pocher Alfa gives me the most satisfaction as it fought me from start to finish and I end up getting the better of it. The fit and finish of the parts for what was called a premium kit was a shock after being bought up on a diet of japanese kits. If it wasn't for my little Emco Unimat 3 lathe with all its attachments I never could have finished it.
  19. HSV GTS 6 speed i purchased brand new back in 1995. With 95 octane fuel now costing the equivalent of $7.50 a gallon out here it doesn't get much use.
  20. Nice clean build. One to be proud of.
  21. Never thought I'd see a Commodore in the forum. Nice job
