  1. Nice builds! What paint did you use for those slot mags? It looks great!
  2. I'm excited to see more on this one, in due course. I like that roof treatment!
  3. Not to reveal my own ignorance, but I kinda assumed that stuff WAS Testors. Or is the packaging different than the Testors ones somehow?
  4. Still playing with my mostly-3D-printed ‘34 truck. The problem with designing and printing almost everything yourself is having to design and print everything yourself…but on the flipside I could build another one of these trucks really quickly now if I wanted! ?
  5. I found one of these in Goodwill one day, for 49 cents. Also pink! Thats a cool little hot rod - I’ll be following!
  6. Bummer ☹️ ???
  7. Viper and second generation Miata: The same guy styled both though, I believe
  8. I’ve been enjoying this thread since it started. Inspiring, masterful work
  9. Thanks buddy! Needs that one front rim replaced at some point, obviously...
  10. 2007! I wanted a V8, but I also wanted a stick…so the stick won out. Still boogies plenty good enough when you step on it though, it seems like!
  11. Thank you!! About 10 minutes after I picked it up it started pouring with rain, and I couldn’t bring myself to dirty it up already…so it’ll get a little road trip tomorrow instead. The suspense is killing me ??
  12. Picked up my first Mustang today…super excited about it! Buying a car is a hassle, but I really like it so far. Handles great, got a good deal and it’s a stick so my wife won’t want to borrow it (which is good, because she’s dangerous enough in her own vehicle ?) My first muscle car*! * kinda….can we call these a muscle car? Pony car sounds not-as-cool
  13. Just picked this up today…relatively low mileage, stick shift, seems well cared-for - guess I’m a Mustang guy now ?
  14. Thanks buddy! Interesting! Didn’t know that - good tip!
  15. I’ve been wanting one of these since the were announced - I actually ordered one on eBay soon as they were available but it never showed up and I had to claim from eBay. But second time around, from a different seller, I got a hold of one: I’ve never messed with opening doors too much, so this is a good chance to learn about aligning them nicely…I’m sure it won’t be a walk in the park…
  16. That would be AMAZING ?
  17. That’s good news! Thanks for letting me know - I should stop by mine and see what they’ve got!
  18. Did they have them previously, and this is a restock? Or they just got these in? Curious if my local store will get some new kits too…
  19. Oh nice - I wish I’d seen this earlier when I had my printer running! I’ll give it a test - thank you!!
  20. We used to live on E 94th, and it was always pretty drama free there…but once you went north up to 112th to my favorite dive bar (in walking range anyway) it was always like a zoo with the ATVs racing and doing wheelies, and the Hondas with farty exhausts and the occasional crack of a gunshot and cops chasing people and general chaos I miss that part of town ?
  21. Wow, that build is amazing - some great bedtime reading there! Thanks Bill!
  22. One of the better scores I’ve had lately…I was looking for a Revell Deuce roadster kit, and found this one that had just been listed at $30 buy it now. Nothing remarkable about that, except there was a BUNCH of extras in there…the entire Revell kit plus half of an AMT ‘Vickie’ Deuce kit, an extra Replicas and Miniatures body with a hardtop and a couple of Duvall windshields: Some cheesy old photoetch (and some little bits of good stuff mixed in there too): Some Arrowhead Aluminum stuff (guess someone got lucky and actually received their order…): A bunch of tires, including some resin re-pops of what look like the Testor’s Alumacoupe ones: Plus these cool shift knobs, from a company I hadn’t heard of before: And, to cap it all off a complete Curbside Dioramics metal Deuce frame kit: Best eBay find I’ve had for a while!
  23. That’s a fine looking build! Great weathering - well deserving of recognition!
