  1. What are those things in front of the rear wheels? Something to keep you from driving away if you owe money?
  2. It felt like that yesterday. This morning its better but not great. I'm looking at it as a trade-off for the annoying ads. ?
  3. In the late 70's I was in the Northern California Street Machine Association. That car showed up frequently at our yearly MIni-Nats. I've always loved it
  4. I like it too!
  5. Great start to this one!
  6. Wow! Beautiful work on this one ?
  7. Nice work, great job on the decals!

Great job, good work on the detailing ?
  9. Beautiful, one of my favorite 'Vettes here on the forum!
  10. The Ramblurr was also released in the Looney Tunes series.
  11. I've used lacquer thinner on that paint. It works, but takes longer to dry than one would expect. I thought it acted like enamel.
  12. Actually it's Modelmartin, but I get the two confused.
  13. That's an excellent point. I used to paint cars (1:1) as a sidejob on weekends. It didn't take too long before I started having trouble keeping up. The last job didn't turn out too good. It was fine for the elderly couple I did it for, but was below my standards. I quit, and had to return some cash I'd taken up front on a couple jobs.
  14. That's cute lol. I particularly like that you did not use the Aardvark body! Love your choice for wheels/tires.
  15. Really nice, very clean workmanship. Well done Marty ?
  16. Hey Greg, thanks for sharing some info about yourself. Are you in first place for number of posts? And when do you have time for normal human activities, like eating and sleeping? ? LOL
  17. Thanks Greg, I've enjoyed them!
  18. There's a second one on ebay right now. What are the odds ? https://www.ebay.com/itm/AURORA-RACING-SCENES-COMPLETE-SET-3-KITS-SEALED/174371732107?_trkparms=aid%3D1110006%26algo%3DHOMESPLICE.SIM%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20131231084308%26meid%3De4752b716f6d47078c28c71ae00eff9e%26pid%3D100010%26rk%3D1%26rkt%3D12%26sd%3D303633708541%26itm%3D174371732107%26pmt%3D0%26noa%3D1%26pg%3D2047675%26algv%3DDefaultOrganic%26brand%3DAurora&_trksid=p2047675.c100010.m2109
  19. Man that came out great, I love that green. What a change your simple mods made! ?
  20. A long time ago I told Steve where he could get the wheels made for him at a decent price. I'm pretty confident that (since he seems to post about everything ) he never followed up on it, or we'd have seen him post about it.
  21. That's how I used to do it when I was like, 14, and prided myself in my painting. Seeing as how I have so much trouble these days, I'm going back to this!
  22. I just this moment discovered that it had been painted blue at one point Here are a couple good stories on it. https://www.ckdeluxe.com/barris-villa-riviera/ https://kustomrama.com/wiki/George_Barris'_1963_Buick_Riviera_-_The_Villa_Riviera
  23. Marty, that came out so nice I can almost overlook the body. The way you've posed it in the last shot makes it seem almost normal. Great work! ?
  24. I'd recommend getting some rod or tubing from K&S Metals. They have retailers in Australia. https://www.ksmetals.com/
