  1. Something I made in Gran Turismo Sport.
  2. Or keep the Chevelle body and make a convertible modified like this.
  3. IMO the roof would look a lot closer to the real thing if the front was chopped about an inch....
  4. The T-Bird in the first photo is probably at a Winston West event. Could be Sears Point, or whatever they call it these days. Marck Motors is in El Cajon, CA.
  5. That's Steve Boutte. He's a master at traditional customs from the 50's. Some of his stuff looks more real than the real thing. If he sends his parts to Poland for chrome plating, the company must be good. I can't remember the name....its something like Mystrlys...
  6. Does anyone remember Vinyl Nation Decals? His whitewalls were pretty popular 5 or so years back. It might be worth it to check him out. His website indicates he's still in business. https://vinylnationdecals.storenvy.com/?page=2
  7. I've been surprised that Revell at least, has not adopted the poly-caps that the Japanese kit makers use. They're slick, and makes changing wheels more than easy. MRC got close with their "Muscle Car Hop Up" sets, but the pins and sockets were all plastic. Here's a pic if your'e not familiar with them.
  8. Pictures are worth a thousand words. Here are two 32 Fords. This is a Hot Rod: And this is a Street Rod:
  9. Chris Walsh is rpols6. He has a facebook page too. Good guy. https://www.facebook.com/groups/1859313104091231/ https://www.ebay.com/sch/rpols6/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_ipg=&_from=
  10. Outstanding Ron, I love it! I'm glad you finally got this one finished, I've been admiring it since you started the WIP over at TRaK. ?
  11. I've lived in the SF Bay Area since the 60's--I don't think you're going to find anything close to vintage models in this area. Most of the older hobby shops have either switched to RC or folded. We don't have antique malls and the antique stores I've visited cater to things for the home or sometimes sports memorabilia. If you do run across anything, let us know! Off the topic, Hobbies Unlimited is a nice place to visit. They've been around since 1966 at least. Nothing vintage though. http://www.hobbiesunlimited.net/
  12. I think there should be two little tits on top of the inner part of the rear fenders. The body nestles in-between these and the fenders proper.
  13. I've developed a fascination for jrock/pop. This could use better mixing, but it's the only youtube I can find.
  14. These days it's pretty amazing to remember the AM stations played all 17 minutes of In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida. ?
  15. You can paint the crankcase whatever color you like. Some say painting aids in heat transfer. The heads shouldn't be painted since not only do they get real hot, the exhaust runs so close to them that the paint would burn off real fast.
  16. I've been waiting for that Luv forever. I've got the Baja Beast version but really prefer this one.
  17. If it looked like this, I would totally drive the volts out of it.
  18. " From the clip: "In a rated power climb with service loading the aircraft is slightly unstable" If that's what the folks that built it say, I'd turn in my pilot's license before flying that ?
  19. He posted this youtube video of the engine almost 10 years ago. Amazing that the truck finally got done.
  20. I found a youtube on the real one dated 2012 so it pre-dated the kit by a long shot.
  21. It baffles me why some resin casters make those ugly tires with way out of scale sipes wrapping around the sidewall.
  22. Have you looked at Eightyone81? http://www.eightyone81.com/category/products/rims/
  23. Great job! I love the stance, you've got it just right. ✔️
