  1. I read somewhere that it was a possibility. One could only hope!
  2. Thats a tough call. Got an extra hood you can shoot the lighter yellow on for comparison? I think something as bright a yellow needs at least a hood to get an accurate represntation of the color.
  3. Uh, no offense intended, but that reverse chop reminds me of this mess:
  4. I've noticed that laquer thinner I bought last year was nowhere as good as some old stuff that was many years old, so I am hating to imagine how awful the new stuff is. As far as the haz-mat team for a lightbulb, there was a piece on the news recently about disposal of those CFL's. It is beyond ridiculous the steps they expect you to go thru, and YES, according to the news if you break one it is suggested you might want to replace your carpet! ck this out: http://www.maine.gov/dep/rwm/homeowner/cflbreakcleanup.htm I heard tell the Russians found out the CFL's are actually worse than incandescent. Sorta like, over it's life, the Prius might actually have a larger "carbon footprint" than a Hummer.
  5. Holy cow! I've seen the T'rantula done up many ways over the years but never like this. Man, what a great idea!
  6. Its looking great so far! I like your choice of wheels/tires! I've been seeing way too many done up with those donk-ey wheels as of late.
  7. They sure dont make 'em like that anymore. Thanks for sharing!
  8. Makes me wonder how this idea: got translated into this: Oh, yea......crack!
  9. I dig this! Im not to fond of the hood, but otherwise it's great! It looks real good with the mild custom parts and the steel wheels with hubcaps, and the lowering really makes it stand out! I love it!
  10. Thats nice! I like how traditional it is, no chop, no V8, no mags, its just right!
  11. Those sure are wild! I really dig those old dragsters, theyve got a "vibe" the new cookie cutter ones wont ever have!
  12. Six bucks and change? What a bargain! I've seen it for $8.99 regularly the the LHS. Guess I can expect to pay 10 bucks now. Oh wait, the primer is already 10 bucks. Reminds me of the natioinal news saying gas will reach $4 a gallon. Where I live, its there now.
  13. For me I think its my ADD, and countless hours going thru my parts boxes. I can even remember stuff I've had stashed for over 40 years. I was like that in my job too. We had an extensive parts inventory for construction equipment and I pretty much knew what we had in stock at all times. Now, ask me what I did last weekend, and I'm likely to have no clue.
  14. Yup. Slow as in molasses. This forum is pretty good, but other places I can click on a link, go get my coffee, say Hi! to my son, get back to the computer and MAYBE the page is open. AT&T email, news, and ebay all seem painfully slow right now.
  15. Umm, I do that Maybe I have a problem.....
  16. Thats pretty cool! Glad to see it done. I love it!
  17. I got an email from a friend notifying me that AT&T will be limiting internet access to 150GB per month as of May. If you go over you get warned and then more fees. What the ?? Is this true? Has anyone heard of this? I cked Snopes and it doesnt appear to be a hoax. This is unbeleiveable.
  18. I dig it!
  19. That is looking great, Bernard! Its just so tough, down to business, everything is just right!
  20. You nailed the look! I dig beetles set up like this. Beuatiful engine work, and a great job on the header and stinger! Does it have a deck lid? Looks like you made some stand-offs for it.
  21. Heres mine. This one is done These are in progress....sort of This was built way way back in 1970-ish
  22. Man, Chuck, thats too cool! I sure dig it!
  23. Thats what Ive thought, just havent tried it yet.
  24. Last nite the news showed some videos of Santa Cruz, about an hour south of me. Floating piers destroyed in the harbor, 20 boats sank, millions in damage. The wave was about 3 feet high. I was completely shocked at the power of a wave only that large. The boats and docks were bobbing up and down like corks, banging into each other. The fellow that died was 25 and from Crescent City, CA.
