The Monogram 1/16 Kenworth Aerodyne conventional was marketed as a kit that didn't need to be painted. It featured dark metallic blue molded cab, hood and sleeper parts that were real glossy. They even included wax to polish them.

Hey Phil, I bought some from Machined Aluminum Specialties years ago when the original owner still ran it. I'm pretty sure someone else runs it now? Not sure if they would still have them but it's a starting point?
How many times have you found yourself thinking "man, I wish I would have bought that kit when it was available! Now it's so expensive, I can't afford it!"
I buy kits as they are released and stash them to avoid that!
On the left is a 379 Peterbilt and on the right is an old International Loadstar. They have both been customized but the Loadstar much more than the Peterbilt!
