I have contracted RB Motion to make several different types of machined aluminum lug nuts for truck wheels. He could make you the pointed "spike" type lug nuts but you'd have to find out how much they would be, from him.
The General from SB 2 was never offered. AMT offered a GMC General kit but the sleeper and decals are different. The trailer is a step deck van and Auslowe of Australia sells a kit that is very similiar to it.
I really love this forum and appreciate it very much!!!!!!!! I buy the magazine as well whenever I stop in the hobby shop, if they have it. That's usually all I do buy there.
That sleeper will need to be scratch built. Nobody offers one that's even close. The real truck had a prototype sleeper (there were two made) and after the movie, the and I think another film, the sleepers were removed and the trucks were sold. One is currently a bobtail grain truck. I'm pretty sure Jerry can make the smaller "hold up scene" for the sides of the trailer. I know he has them for the truck in the first movie.
I have two projects on hold right now that are up to 1000.00 in parts, paint work, resin, machined aluminum and decals. If it makes me happy, I don't get too concerned about cost.
Lionel made a really nice P&H crane like your describing. It was offered preassembled and as a kit. It's 1/48 scale but really detailed and makes a really nice model! http://www.tandem-associates.com/lionel/lionel_trains_6828_flat_car.htm
I'm pretty sure there were only eight different MPC Zingers kits made. They were just reissued a couple years ago. There's the semi, the dune buggy, van, volkswagon, dragster, Corvette, the Dodge van/pickup and the 57 Chevy.
