  1. Always try to remember, that model does not have to be built. It is there for your enjoyment. If your not enjoying it, just put it away until you get the urge to work on it again. In the mean time, enjoy this forum. Maybe you'll learn new tricks that will help you in your build?
  2. That really looks nice!!!!!!!!
  3. They usually leave the roof bare aluminum but I don't see any reason why it couldn't be painted. I'm sure thee are trailers out there with painted roofs. The most likely would have the trailer number painted on the roof as well so it could be spotted by helicopter?
  4. Very sharp!!!!!!! Nice job!
  5. Hey Sam, Eric (Porky) at P&P Resins has most of what you need including the 379 conversion kit. http://ppvintagekits.com/
  6. Looks like the old Monogram Luminators 1/32 funny cars.
  7. At least he didn't say "Herpe V.D."!
  8. Hey Robert, not sure if they still sell them but KFS has a winch strap kit for flatbeds. It has photo etch pieces that assemble into the winches and it includes some strap material. A friend of mine cast some little resin winches a while back. I can see if he still has some.
  9. I would be interested for sure!!!!!!!! I have two of the resin crew cabs that Tom Coolidge made but they would need to made into the heavier version. A friend, who is a member on this forum is currently working on a styrene "kit" of the transporter bodies that were used on the Snake and Mongoose trucks. Here's a bunch of pics of the real trucks. http://www.public.fotki.com/lotso/snake-funny-car-tra/
  10. Lookin really great Jon!!!
  11. I do want to reissue that sleeper but I'm going to fix an area that had some scratches from sanding that couldn't be seen until it was cast into resin. The Ford is still in progress as well. I have a friend trying to get some photo etch made for it.
  12. Pretty darn cool!!!!!!
  13. That's all you can do is give them a few coats of the liquid decal film. Decals that are really old or just really thin will break apart like that.
  14. You did a beautiful job on that, Helmut!!!!! I made that sleeper as well and had it cast into resin and I then had a guy in Canada draw up the Eagle and make it into decals. Jerry at ModelTruckin Decals sells them now.
  15. That was just plane cool!!!!!!!!!!
  16. What about Private Messages? I get people, every now and then asking me about my parts and rather than answering them in the thread, I'll click on thier profile and send them a private Message. In that message, I usually tell them that selling is not allowed on the forum and ask them to email me directly. Isit ok to tell the a price in the private message?
  17. Hey Kevin, it will be ok. You don't ever hear of stories where something went wrong in an operation like that. Those doctors know what they are doing and only the best perform operations like that. Try not to worry, everything will be ok and you'll feel much better after they get you fixed up!
  18. Congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!! I recently lost some weight too............Oh wait, there it is, nevermind!
  19. HURRY!!!!! I'm dyin to see how it looks with the wheels!!!!
  20. I do however, give kickbacks to Jim. Everytime he mentions my name I give him a cookie. As per our agreement!
