  1. That's the one I used on my Monroe Handler project. http://www.public.fotki.com/lotso/monroe-handler-project/
  2. I'm pretty sure it's Ryan Sylva here on this forum that makes those 8 lug wheels you see on Ebay.
  3. Look at it this way. Someone liked that truck so much that they were willing to steal it and ruin any freindship they had with you! Sucks that it's gone but kinda flattering at the same time?
  4. I bought some 1/25 one piece resin Matt trax off Ebay. It was a set of four. The were one piece but pretty detailed. With some careful painting they'll look really nice. It's been quite a while since I bought them. Not sure if they'll still be on Ebay or not?
  5. Are you refering to the rubber, ribbed air to air connectors found on the air intake pipes under the hoods of trucks?
  6. Get him this kit. It's a great kit for beginners as well as experienced builders. It builds into a very nice replica of the real truck, has full engine detail and not too many parts. http://www.google.com/imgres?hl=en&sa=X&tbo=d&biw=1024&bih=571&tbm=isch&tbnid=g9S5_AfJ5-LbAM:&imgrefurl=http://www.car-model-kit.com/115-trucks-plastic-models/9234-peterbilt-359-conventional-tractor-revell-monogram/&docid=QOrmCw0M8BNa_M&imgurl=http://www.car-model-kit.cz/watermarkimage.ashx%253Fp%253D/car-model-kit/4-_8Q9-2510__osgtev-osgt__peterbilt_359_conventional_tractor_-_revell_monogram.jpg&w=400&h=300&ei=C0QSUaGoPIPM2gW9sYFY&zoom=1&iact=rc&dur=312&sig=116305149286072071297&page=3&tbnh=137&tbnw=165&start=36&ndsp=25&ved=1t:429,r:52,s:0,i:248&tx=81&ty=76
  7. LOL, you guys are making me feel a lot better! Being 6'6" tall and 280lbs, people think you can carry cars around on your back and me being stupid in my younger years (I'm 45) I would be the first to offer to lift something heavy or carry something too big. Boy, do I regret it now!!!!!!! Feet, legs and back sore all the time!!! I remember one of my bosses telling me "don't be a hero" when I went to pick up a 400 lb transformer for a job we were doing. I understand now why he said that!
  8. LOL, LOL, those things crack me up!
  9. There has never been a series of drag related kits more detailed than the Aurora Racing scenes!!! I have every kit in the series except the full kits of the Vega and Pinto. They are on my must have list!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  10. I see a new commercial coming! "The Volkswagon Beetle, causing bodily injury since 196?" I forget the first year! LOL
  11. Very nice!!!!! I'm really wanting the 45' step deck van kit they make!!!!
  12. There used to be a resin 1/25 or 1/24 model of the Goldenrod but it was just the body (solid), the air intakes and little half circles for what could be seen of the wheels. I think it came with the decals as well.
  13. So sad, all my prayers go out to him and his family.
  14. 15. Very nice!!!!! Been waiting to see how it turned out!
  16. yeah, the snap kits can be found from 15.00 to 19.00 usually. If it were the glue kit, that would be a heck of a deal!
  17. Very nice work!!!!!!!!!!!
  18. You know that's probably the 1/25 Snap Tite 359 kit, not the glue 359 kit, right?
  19. Just had a great trade with Jon Ardington from Canada. He is a new member to the forum here. Canada post kinda messed things up in getting the package to me but everything on Jons part was great!!!! He even sent more than I expected!!!!!! Thanks again Jon!!!!! I just had a great trade with Michelle B. (turbokitty). Would deal with again! I just did a trade with Sam Grabenhorst (Sam I Am?) and everything went great, I would trade with him any time!!!! Thanks Sam!!!!!
  20. LOL, I would trade a couple days of our weather for a couple days of snow like that! As long as I didn't have to work in it! I was born in Michigan and lived there till 76. I miss the snow. We have only had it here in San Antonio two or three times since I moved here. The deepest was in 87 and that was only about two feet. Since then we have just had a very light ground covering snow once or twice.
  21. That's really sharp!!!!!!! Looks like it should be pullin a flatbed!
  22. That is sooooooooooooooooooo cool!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love yellow trucks!
  23. What planet do you guys live on????? It was 75 degrees here yesterday!!!
