  1. Wow. Real nice job on this one.
  2. Man, you nailed it. That is the perfect primered street truck that is unfinished.
  3. I'm sure there will be no objections to you going forward with this build. Any progress ?
  4. Coming along great, please don't step on this version.
  5. Really great stuff. I would not have even given this kit a second thought back when they came out, now I kind of want one... Heavy sigh. One more for the stash, right ?
  6. That's really great, I love it.
  7. Sanding the tread is great, but inside the tread is where it looks silly. How many times have you seen sanded tread with it being shiny down inside the treads ? The only way I've found to fix this is to paint the tire, then sand the tread. A lot of time and trouble, but the only fix I've seen. How does everyone else do it in between the treads ?
  8. Pete, I love the first pic to show the insides of a can, but they make jars too. Seems like you go through a lot of trouble to open a spray can up when you could just get a jar of paint and thin it down for your airbrush at a fraction of the cost of a can of spray paint. Then you could mix colors and tint all you like, too. So why take the risk of opening spray cans ? Just one little slip and you could have a red room at the very least. They can be quite dangerous to open by drilling holes in them.
  9. Maybe just put the hinge on the other side ?
  10. That package shelf looks nice, but you know what it looks like to me ? That looks like it will make a great head liner. Just use a spray glue on the roof inside and press it in.
  11. Nice job. I really like this.
  12. Outstanding. I really like this one.
  13. Looks good. I had one of those back in the late 70's. Baby blue with a white stripe down the middle.
  14. Very nice.
  15. Wow. That's pretty cool.
  16. Some really cool ones in here.
  17. I think you are doing a fine job. I like it.
  18. I could not tell you how long it's been since I've been to a model show. Mostly for just these reasons. I build for me and I build for what I'm paid to build and not judges. I like it and that's what counts. I have to agree, that article is well said.
  19. Wow. Mine is a 48 woodie. Almost everything I have is 41 or older.
  20. Very cool. I think you hit it right on.
  21. Great stuff everyone. I love em all.
  22. Real nice. I always wondered where these kits were coming from.....
