  2. The Testors paint is what I used . Looks good too.
  3. As Joe Azers said , the hard top is probably the biggest real problem I encountered . The windshield went in so so .I'd buy another just to have both a convertible and a hardtop ............
  4. Tulio, be careful where you park the car now.
  5. Matija , I have these three taken by M C M Member George Hunnycutt :
  6. Good start ..............................
  7. Matija, saw such a set up used on one of the new Moebius trailers at this years Old Dominion Open I P M S contest . I took pictures and now I guess I'll have to find them to show you how spectacular the set up was .
  8. If the curve isn't too severe, I have done so..................
  9. I dunno, , this kit was manufactured using 1955 technology. Yep, it's a MULTI- PIECED BODY!!!!!!!!! However , it featured Separate chrome trim. Yes, there are a couple of gaps in the lower half where the upper body mates to the lower body and chassis . Hey, I was able to work around the fit . The real issue is this . ARE YOU A PLASTIC ASSEMBLER , OR , ARE YOU INDEED A "REAL " MODEL BUILDER ? One of these kits will determine that. Just also remember that every time you yearn for a I M C - TESTORS- UNION Ford GT-40 kit too................................. The defense now rests you're honor
  10. This one is going to hold my attention until the end !
  11. Fine job young man, keep up the good work !
  12. Have I got a use for BLUE Neon .............................. Many thanks !
  13. I guess that means stuffing toilet paper into the tires ehh ?
  14. " Mainstreamers " are always good to look at ! You're El camino justifies a main streamer .....................
  15. I've got a couple . One , a Buick regal was never kitted . The same company also offered a Buick Reatta.
  16. I've had phone conversations with Alan, he's a businessman .....................
  17. On the who has a model from their childhood, yes . I still have an un altered , un adulterated an untouched 1964 AMT Ford Galaxy and a 1961 AMT Styline Ford Ranchero .................
  18. Very interesting sir !!!!!!!!!!!
  19. This project keeps getting better an better every time I get new photos to look at !
  20. Just a suggestion here , but a "MILD" dusting of say a White primer that was Frosted on a piece of Plexiglas might just achieve a virtual roof and allow enough light to show through as well.
  21. Great jukka Mukka , ya mean we're finally gona see a REAL 1-25th scale Ford 240-300 inliner ???????? Wowza , I have owned several Econolines with this motor in it . I now drive a 78 with a 300 in it .I hope Mobius will also not leave the 75-79 guys out in the cold as the cabs actually shared a few tools . I can assure Mobius that BOTH trucks will be good sellers.............
  22. Edsel, by all means , you need to P- M da Merc man !
  23. Here is a model that both Harry and Skip asked me to post . It's Hubley's 1958-9 Mercedes Benz 300. I saw it at the Richmond Virginia Old Dominion Open back in 2012. Looking at the scratched unpainted red plastic , I saw that re building this one wouldn't present too much problem. The interior was painted in a Gold . The big issue was it's missing windshield header . I was pretty sure that a raid on the A M T Mercedes kit would net a few needed items too. There are two rather Stock wheel sets in these kits . I chose to use the steel wheel and cap assembly . The windshield header and a subsequent windshield were constructed from Evergreen Styrene strip and acetate .. Because this model was a "Curbside " , I decided to leave it as it was .
  24. Skip , do you want me to put a picture of the Mercedes up ? I bought a broken one and did a minor re build of it last year .
