  2. VERY fine job on the crane young man , GREAT WORK !!!!!!!!!!!!!
  3. I bet no here might remember when Linburg also did the 1964 Chevrolet Handy Van too. Oh yes fellow truckers in Vandom, Linburg did it in 1-32 scale ...............
  4. Last time I remember seeing one of the Ford's, I'd have to say they kinda looked to be closer to a 1-22 , maybe 1-23rd . I mean they weren't really bad , jus kinda large . Even the Nash metropolitan they did was a little large .................
  5. Jim, some of the best diorama pieces I have seen actually come from scavenging the yard, woods and of course a beach. Looks great !
  6. Yer for real Frank, that was printed ???????????
  7. I DO NOT USE EVIL BAY OR KRAK LIST- period .
  8. Great use for spare parts idea !
  9. MEOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW........................
  10. As much as I have to have shipped here for both myself and customers , I take shipping times as part of the routine . Look, I can call a merchant and they'll tell me "ANYTHING " to keep my business. Neva mind they are most of the time wrong . When a merchant tells me I'll have it in a week, I say yeah , I'll see it in THREE WEEKS..............
  11. They must have had some kind of a time machine I guess................
  12. Dats funny George !!!!!!!!!!!! :D
  13. Obvisiouly, you went to the Dr. Cranky- Ken Hamilton school of advanced diorama construction sir .
  14. Anne, as coming from someone who deals in Obsolete parts and collectables , sellers are motivated by several factors . First, you have the crowd who simply says , hey. it's old , so it has to be rare, read expensive . You have sellers who actually "READ " the market and actually know what a product will bring . In any case , just because a product is old , obsolete , or just isn't in use anymore doesn't constitute it as a "Rare or collectable " piece . Me, I'm cheap and I watch for bargains at shows , auctions , etc ....................
  15. Heart disease runs in my family and I have seen first hand people , friends an a co worker with this dreaded situation. I've been in the hospital myself, not for heart problems , but I can attest, they're a PAIN IN DA A-- !!!!!! In addition , the physical therapy that will be required after one is released . Glu head , let me know via a P- M if there is something I can do from here .
  16. Wow, A M T 's forgotten 64 Grand Prix ................. This is one kit I'm nearly positive that will never get a re- issue . Then to top it off, you did such an outstanding job!!!!!!!!!
  17. Al, for a build that went all wrong, sure looks really great to me !
  18. Bill, ya get it sir !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  19. I can't say I personally knew him. Still, I'm saddened by a loss regardless .
  20. I have to agree with Casey's opinions of this kit . I have one of the "Matchbox era" kits myself . I also well remember the Annual 1962 Corvette with it's opening trunk and some tools too. Uh, it was released as an AMT . Since kits are costing what they are today, I'll take my money and place it on something representative of the subject at hand . Sadly, A M T could have done better by NOT re releasing this piece .....................
  21. I know the perfect service station diorama that will fit this model already !
  22. I'm so glad this project came through !!!!!!!!!! I have followed it from the very beginning . I'ts really nice to see all the extra time spent on the things like a tennis ball, inspection sticker and sagging hinges . Excellent work and my hat is off to ya !!!!!!!!!!
  23. The great photography work really makes this one stand out .
  24. several kits I've seen .............. Either the subject matter lost it's excitement or there were enough fit issues to run me off.
  25. Hey, that's one fine piece there !!!!!!!!!!
