  5. Without a drawing or a Picture, I'm not going to be much help .................
  6. I can almost hear the screams of joy if someone would do a styrene 50-51 Studebaker Coupe ..............Besides , this was a "Moonshiners mobile ". Yep, I remember several of em back in the middle 1950's too Oh they ran Cadillac engines them. The Studebaker 6's were just for showroom pieces anyway .
  7. I can see building one of the Packards if it's 1-24th or 1-25th
  8. I'ts a delight to see such a model Tulio, well done !
  9. Bob, that came out remarkably well ! I saw an "In Progress shot somewhere else . I could see you were really taking the time to make sure everything was ling up well an it shows too.
  10. The problem still remains with ANY A M T Kit concerning a so called 2 + 2. The actual 2 + 2's were built on Catalina Gran Prix bodies . They were a good eight inches shorter than a Bonneville ever was . To do a "Correct " 2 + 2 out of the Bonneville , one needs to shorten the quarter panel area .
  11. Yes ken, that's the Ford "Big Job " engine .
  12. Chris , I Kit bashed it with parts of an AMT kit :
  13. GREAT point !
  14. Not to be a smarty er anything ..............
  15. "What this country needs is a good five cent cigar "....................
  16. It would have been interesting to have had a few shots or at least a mention of how you were able to overcome the "Vague " details on the Chrysler Concorde . Very nice work on all............
  17. Hey, a G M C Yellow Coach would be a terrific subject to do . I know several cities where these busses were used . These busses could have been gasoline or diesel as I have seen both .
  18. Gary, outside of the Opel Blitz truck, I'm not even remotely aware of any such wheels ever kitted . Depending upon which truck you are trying to convert into a heavier model , you need a "Widely Spaced five lug " for some Ford F-3's and Model AA's . G M C and Chevrolet generally stuck to a Six lug format. A good many G M C's used eight lugs right after WWII also . I spoke to one resin caster in Canada several years ago, but I see where he soon got a dubious reputation , so I never bothered to order from him .
  19. I like how you posed the Bronco with the VERY "Lifelike " scenery.
  20. Externally, the 239, 292, and 312 Ford blocks are pretty much the same . As for the physical differences in a plastic model kit , virtually nothing. The differences in internals is however way different . On just the 239, ( offered on cars 1954, 55 ) , there is NOTHING that will interchange with either the 292 0r the 312 . O K , I'll concede the tune up parts , but that's about it . For what it's worth, "Most " Thunderbird cars by 1956 were built with 312's . Yes, 292's were built, used to work on one for a customer . His was a 1956 .
  21. J. C. Whitney spoken ............................
  22. Tom, ya done good . I've been watched several times running the hi ways of Maryland as a driver
  23. Dan, I'll settle fer a 59 Buick .....................
  24. Since parts are so expensive and hard to find on both of my antique Ford trucks , I can safely say I've done one change on the 53 in 100,000 miles . . Since the odometer quit working several years ago, I've maybe adjusted it one time ............
