  1. Unfortunately, you missed the 218 cut-off. Your first issue will be 219.
  2. If you're running Chrome, see if there isn't some janky extension installed. This is a popular method for popping those things up. You should also clear your cache regardless of browser.
  3. Be sure to create an event in the calendar. More people will see it.
  4. Here’s a quick shot of the contents page.
  5. This is awesome. How do you do your anodization?
  6. Send a message to Subscribe@modelcarsmag.com. That's the gateway to our subscription services.
  7. 99.9% of our issues arrive at their intended destinations. If an issue doesn't arrive, we'll send a replacement. Main thing is to make sure we have your correct address.
  8. I used to be on a committee that wrote the ISO standards for computer graphics. The goal of these standards was to be so complete and precise that two different people could write two different implementations, and have them be 100% compatible. This is a great goal for nuts, bolts, and screws. You can't do it in a useful time frame for anything as complex as a software system. So, we have assumptions and minor incompatibilities.
  9. Issue 218 is in the mail and should be arriving soon!
  10. Our hosting got the problem fixed and you shouldn't be getting that message anymore.

  12. Great car, great kit build, and interesting display of the real one. I wonder if the molds still exist? Oddly enough, I used to work in the building where that museum is located.
  13. The insurance adjusters are going to see right through that. That kid is going to get a huge education. Maybe even starting with, "we aren't going to insure you anymore." Important thing is that your wife is okay.
  14. The hosting company has messed up our encryption certificate again. They're working on it. The site itself is unchanged. You can bypass it without any danger of ill results. I may be sitting here fuming about it, but don't tell my dharma teacher. ?
  15. Thanks Dan. The hosting company has messed up our encryption certificate again. They're working on it.
  16. Spent the afternoon doing stupid things with sleds in snow, then retire to the house to warm up and build models with my daughter, son, and son in law. Not a bad way to spend an afternoon.
  17. I had this problem with my mother's Malamute chewing on the cord to my workbench. My mother would unplug it at night, and the dog, who was teething, would chew it. One night, I plugged it back in and went to bed. In the morning, there was a single bite mark. Thereafter, the dog made sure the cords weren't attached to anything before chewing them. Darn animals are too smart for their own good.
  18. If you're here, I seriously doubt you're stupid. You need to resize or crop the picture. If you have a PC available, I use a program called IrfanView for to resize images. It's a free to download and use. It also does a lot of other useful things.
  19. Not sure where you sent your email, but I don't see them. I'll send you a replacement issue. You see 10 issues remaining because we created mailing labels for 218. That issue will be mailing out soon.
  20. You have 2 weeks after posting to edit the post. We had a spam post attack. Unfortunately, one of the vulnerabilities we have to seal is the ability to edit previous posts. We like to run with this enabled, and normally do. But when we're under attack, we have to close it. The breach attempts are continuing, so it's staying at the 2 week limit for the time being.
  21. We've been totally focused on getting magazines out on a regular schedule. For the moment, we're only selling T-Shirts at shows. We're working on online sales, but we don't have all the pieces in place yet.
  22. He's the new turn marshal.
