  1. We were having some problems right about them. They should be resolved. Are the symptoms continuing?
  2. One good thing about being, ahem, older, is that it's hard to pick the best concerts. So here is my list: Jimi Hendrix, Charlie Musselwhite, and Iron Butterfly at the Santa Clara County fairgrounds Grateful Dead at Winterland Leonard Bernstein conducting the NY Philharmonic Julian Bream at the Masonic Hall in SF Weather Report at the Berkeley Jazz Festival Al DiMeola at BJF Joni Mitchel with Herbie Hancock at BJF Tragically Hip at the Belly Up Sharon van Etten at the Belly Up Dick Dale at the Belly Up There's one more, but there's a long story attached to that one. And yes, I have eclectic tastes in music.
  3. Unfortunately, your subscription expired with issue 213.
  4. Model Cars Magazine #215 should be hitting your mailboxes any day now. We jumped into the 3D printing deep end with stories that will inform modelers of all levels. If 3D isn’t quite your thing, don’t worry, there are still plenty of inspirational stories which include 8 pages of NNL West coverage.
  5. Happy birthday, Snake. The oldest active member I can find was born in 1936, and there are a handful of members with birthdays in '39 to '43. After that, it starts to get pretty populated. I think they call it a baby boom. ?
  6. Please send me a PM with your name and address.
  7. Interesting. I wonder why he didn't go for a couple of 20,000 tanks? Would have been much easier to transport. That 10 wheel transport truck is one serious piece of transport hardware. Looks like it might have been part of a mobile artillery system in a previous life. That would explain its speed on dirt roads.
  8. I'm gonna guess that the MGA is using something other than the stock 1500cc four banger. My niece's husband tried putting a very large Ford V-8 in an MGA. The frame needs a LOT of reinforcement to make that work right.
  9. Our server was down for a while. It's fixed, and everything seems to be working. (knock on wood or touch wood if you speak British English)
  10. These jokers are gaming the system. I don't know why they think this will get them more sales. I tweaked the settings again. If you get ads like this, click the little report icon in the top right corner and select ad covers content. That seems to get the ad canned.
  11. Something to do with Canada Post. Beyond that, we just do not know.
  12. Truer words were never spoken.
  13. I'm so sorry. What a sweetie.
  14. Which topic are we talking about here?
  15. I’m in the process of getting this information together and putting it on the website. But you can PM me and I can set something up.
  16. I would try unfollowing it first.
  17. I might have that beat with this puzzling example of automotive science:
  18. These have had my attention all week. The lensing galaxies are amazing on many, many levels.
  19. We've seen this from a couple other users in Japan. We don't know what causes it, only that it seems to come and go. What type of computer are you using? It would be helpful to get the output from a traceroute command to see where it's getting blocked.
  20. Wow. You did a great job on this. I have two of these kits in my stash, and have frankly been somewhat intimidated by them. I feel like I can try mine now with all this good information. Thank you so much.
  21. Not mine, but my mother's 1974 Dodge Dart. Underbuilt suspension, and the engine was simply a failure. It would constantly flame back through the carb and stall; usually in a dicey traffic situation. I was tempted on more than one occasion to have an accidental engine fire with that car.
  22. That makes two of us. Let me see if there are any known problems in this area.
  23. I'll bet this is Photobucket being antisocial again.
  24. This is just incredible.
  25. Thanks for the heads up. I'll go see if I can find out anything from the vendor.
