  1. The AMT W925 Movin' On truck is a conventional truck, the Kenworth COE from AMT are the K123 and K100 Aerodyne, the K123 was out a couple of years ago and the K100 Aerodyne is out right now as the Tyrone Malone Papa Truck.
  2. Yes, many of the under hood decals are missing from kits and it would be nice to be able to add them to our builds...not just the ones I had on my pictures above, just in general.
  3. I have an old Revell AG Kenworth K100 COE where the tires are going away and collapsing on me, mostly the front ones as they carries the most weight.
  4. As I understood it AMT altered the cab and hood tooling when they did the T600 back in the 90's so maybe Round2 has re-tooled the cab and hood...that would be great. I have plans for more W900's in the future.
  5. Here are some other things I would like to see. I like to build old race cars from the early to mid 60's and these decals aren't that plentiful on the market and they are in very few kits. Valve cover decals for the Dodge 413 and 426 Max Wedge cars. Valve cover decals for Plymouth 413 and 426 Max Wedge cars. Air cleaner decal for the Max Wedge and Hemi cars with dual carburetors. Valve cover decals for Ford High Performance engines. I would buy several sets if they were available.
  6. I saw a UK made car program where the guy called even fenders for a car Mud Guards.
  7. The shipping can be quite steep sometimes, I don't know why. But the thing that annoy me the most is the "Global Shipping Program" ebay started with a while back, if you buy a thing for lets say $5.00 on ebay the shipping cost are 6 to 8 times the value of the item at around $30.00-$40.00 with this #¤&¤ thing, the parcel allways goes by the more expensive Priority Mail and all import charges are included...even tho' I usually don't have to pay any import charges for an item for that low price...pretty annoying if you ask me. If you send the same thing with USPS First Class Mail International the shipping is about half or even less...and most of the things passes customs without any charge.

  9. All the Galaxie 500 XL's came with bucket seats but they weren't the lightweight Bostrom seats, the XL also have center console. The 427 was on the option list from mid year 1963 on all Galaxies as Q and R-code (Q 1X4bbl 410 hp and R 2X4 bbl 425 hp), not just the Lightweights, before that the top high performance option was the B and G-code 406 (B 1X4bbl 385 hp and G 3X2 bbl 405 hp).
  10. Yes, after what I've heard Fender used Ford colors and maybe even other car makes colors on their guitars. I'm not 100% sure and I can check, after all we have "Guitars the Museum" here in my home town with one of the largest guitar collections in the world and I know the owners.
  11. No, the Papa Truck model kit have have never had anything else than the 10-hole Alcoa's and that goes for the Hideout Truck too, the Truck Mate 5-hole wheels Ben shows he has done the master for.
  12. I have one more... Correct looking 67-68 Shelby 10-spoke wheels...everything there has been available so far has been wrong.
  13. I have bought a couple of sets through Ben and one directly from Jamie and they are very nice, they are not on the Moluminum page but email him and ask...that's what I did. And no they are not plated, that you have to do yourself.

It should not be a problem as KJ says, The W925/K125 designation stands for Torsion Bar Suspension and that's what the kit originally had, AMT changed to Walking Beam later but the frame rails are the same. They should also have changed the designation to W923 for the model to be correct when they changed the suspension, but left the W925...I don't know exactly when they changed the suspension but I know it was after the T559 KW Challege Transit Mixer and before the T560 Movin On and T511 Alaskan Hauler. Apparently also the K123 originally had Torsion Bar suspension but that was also changed to the Walking Beam sometime...the K123 has the right designation now tho'.
  18. Doesn't AMT have a good Mopar LA engine allready, the one in the 71 Duster is pretty nice.
  19. If they do the Bandag Bandit race truck they will for sure do it's hauler Hideout Truck. The Papa Truck and Hideout Truck kits are exactly the same except for the decals.

  22. Well the Hemi based Poly Head engines were not from the "A" family, they were Hemi blocks with single rocker shaft polysferic heads to make them cheaper than the Hemi's. The Chrysler Spitfire (1955-58) 301-331-354 cu in were based on the Low Deck 331-354 Hemi, there were no poly-head version of the later Raised Deck 392 Hemi as you said. The Dodge Red Ram (1955-56) 241-259-270-315-325 cu in were based on the 241-325 Hemi, they did Poly Head engines both of the Low Deck 241-270 and the raised deck 315-325. The Plymouth Hyfire (1955-56) 241-259 cu in were also based on the Dodge 241-270 Low Deck Hemi's, No Poly Head engines were based on the DeSoto 276-291-330-341-345 cu in Hemi, the few DeSoto's with Poly Head engines had Dodge Hemi based engines. The Polysferical Head (1956-67) 277-301-303-313-318-326 cu in was the "A" family engine and shares no parts with the older Poly Head and Hemi engines and was replaced with the "LA" and "B/RB" allthough they were manufactured simultaneously for a while.
