  1. The front of the fram does not connect to the axle. The springs mount is on the rear of the front crossmember. Looks silly to me but it is their car not mine. I will say it served its purpose made you look and all of us.
  2. One of the local theaters here has recliners, very nice. Well I just checked and they are not showing it there. A good 45 minutes away is the closest. Bummer.
  3. That was fast. Looks good.
  4. Casey there was a 78 in Toledo area when I was driving my 78 Cutlass , around 85. I liked the look of that one also. My cousin had a 78 pontiac at the time, the only reason i noticed. I think the 59 was done for a prototype (one of 2 if I remember correctly) and used for a parts runner at the Pontiac plant until it slipped out the back door. A story was in a Hemmings mag a few years ago. I sure hope it was not an April issue. LOL
  5. My late friend had one back in the day I should have taken pictures. His was not as nice as this one.
  6. I was not old enough to have seen this at a theater. I am not sure that I have ever watched any part other than the chase on youtube. Growing up with 11 kids in the family we never got out of the house except for family reunions. LOL
  7. I grew up on a 3 acre piece of property that my dad still lives on. It was surrounded by a farmers field and pasture that had a creek running through it. Sometime in the 40's or 50's they blasted through the bedrock to make the creek larger. About 15 feet wide and 8 feet plus deep. Spent many a day playing around and in that. If I went to my buddies house a mile away it was more fun because he had neighbors our age. If we walked across the street to visit his great Aunt as soon as we walked in the front door of the house we were in Ohio as the porch was in Michigan. That was surrounded by woods with bike trails.

  9. The rear seat is the scariest ride of your life, when my brother is up front. LOL Not sure why I am ok when I am steering. His is a Murry I think . The Schwin is cooler though.
  10. NIce rides guys, 2 and 4 wheelers.
  11. Another great looking model from your bench. I also like the green.
  12. Yes on both accounts. It is a Ford Concept for a modern Daytona Coupe supercar. There are 1/18 scale Diecast but they are not 20 bucks for sure. Last I seen them at a show it was north of 100 bucks and online they are all over the map but starting around 60 when I last looked.
  13. This coming along nicely.
  14. Contact the Olsen Brothers , they may work out a deal with you. I would get a couple of the half cabs for a CJ5 and even a whole cab. I sure do like this Jeep.
  15. Looks great, I like the color choice.
  16. Looks very nice Pat.
  17. This sure looks the part through my eyes.
  18. Great idea. You could always just round off the high points of the rear fender tops.
  19. Welcome aboard. You are not that far from me.
