  3. You are not kidding! Back when the toy show was huge in Toledo I think many slept in their car.
  4. Good thing I have a wedding to attend that weekend. LOL
  5. I wonder if you will not end up with two very white stripes when you get the black off Chris?
  6. Looks fine. Keep building.
  7. I second this.
  8. Picture of A gathering of Porsche's.
  9. Congratulations. After 48 years any chance on an early Parole? LOL
  10. Dale I like your Shasta. Spent a few weekends in one of those, the best was going Smelt Fishing in Canada with my dad, my buddy and his dad. It was pulled with a mid 70's Chrysler wagon, not sure what make it was. One year my dad had to sit along 75 in the middle of Detroit as we had a flat tire on the trailer. That was fun looking for a tire on a Sunday afternoon. LOL I also have both of these but never thought to put them side by side yet.
  11. It was the over pricing that got me. Do what you want with what you have but 15 bucks for a set of tires. He is probably just on vacation. LOL
  12. Yes some other good points. It would be nice to know where those Jo Han molds that testers used ended up.
  13. They scraped them in the seventies when times were tough. No one had a clue of the value in years to come.
  14. I like them both. Back a few years ago ollies had 1 of these kits on the shelf, I was hoping to find more.
  15. I like this, nice work. ME TV on Saturday nights, late. Just wondering If I am the only one that can not figure out why they did not leave DR Smith behind a time or 12? LOL
  16. I finally got around to getting these two side by side for a reference as two the two boxes. If the Falcon was a promo as it did say pre assembled model in the flyer.
  17. This is cool. I like the paint job on this. To bad the quarter is so rusty. Shame the hood was used for a sled, but I will tell you a Pinto hood is a fun ride behind a 3 wheeler back in the eighties.
  18. By reading this tonight I learned you could delete the unwanted photos when Quoting.
  19. I have alway loved the rims on the car from way back when I built the first issue of it.
  20. This is looking killer.
  21. It has been said the JoHan employees were also owed money while still working. That is why they did what they did. That is according to the guy selling stuff at the Detroit shows who claims to be one of the guys that cleaned out the place after it closed. He had a big supply of bodies and parts just no complete kits.
