  1. Plain and simple, high end cars cost more. When you put new shocks on your Benz the price goes up. In the video they said what they were doing was a 27 hour job. Even if the shop rate was 100 an hour that does not add up to 21,000.
  2. Fantastic
  3. Wow these all look real.
  4. Looks different and cool. NIce to get something finished.
  5. At the very end did something fall off the car or did it run over something? Toyota is currently building a site across the street from my buddies farm to test driverless cars. Inside the former Dana test track. They are planning to start testing this fall.
  6. Those also look like the large bales about 3 or 4 times the size of a standard bale. 200 to 300 pounds dry don't even want to guess wet weight.
  7. At least you have the whole kit in the wrong box. I have 2 AMT kits that are half and half, Totally Useless.
  8. This just made my day. NIce work .
  9. More truth in this statement than we want to believe. LOL
  10. Tom is this the Magazine you were referring to? https://www.model-engineer.co.uk/ If you can find a Model Engineering show in your area I suggest you check it out. There is one in the Detroit area in the spring ( March or April) that is a nice show.
  11. Jennifer Love Hewitt is of mine.
  12. Welcome aboard. Enjoy the hobby.
  13. Never had one of these. The school supplied our t square, protractors and triangles. But if you dropped equipment 3 times in a quarter you got a wack. This kept you on your toes and not turning around to BS to often. Again he was a great teacher along with being a good man. If you had a problem he was willing to talk to you and help you out with advice.
  14. First days in drafting class were spent lettering Murphy's laws. Great teacher but he lover to watch us do this so many times over and over. You could not erase anything or leave smudge marks, no misspelled words and every comma in its place.. This was very hard for me as my penmanship is very bad.
  15. Great Idea. Looks good.
  16. This looks very good. I like the stock look of the paint and body.
  17. Yes it would have been cheaper, but if your help was short like I am at 5' 6 you need all the help your can. LOL I think they did that so you could easily throw the long object on their all by yourself and tie it down with ease. Notice the other truck has a bar on the front bumper also.
  18. Looks better than the real car to me.

  20. NIce combo. I love the old military surplus tires on the tractor. I look for them at swap meets to do an old farm truck someday, just never find any.
