Never had one of these. The school supplied our t square, protractors and triangles. But if you dropped equipment 3 times in a quarter you got a wack. This kept you on your toes and not turning around to BS to often. Again he was a great teacher along with being a good man. If you had a problem he was willing to talk to you and help you out with advice.

First days in drafting class were spent lettering Murphy's laws. Great teacher but he lover to watch us do this so many times over and over. You could not erase anything or leave smudge marks, no misspelled words and every comma in its place.. This was very hard for me as my penmanship is very bad.

Yes it would have been cheaper, but if your help was short like I am at 5' 6 you need all the help your can. LOL I think they did that so you could easily throw the long object on their all by yourself and tie it down with ease. Notice the other truck has a bar on the front bumper also.

NIce combo. I love the old military surplus tires on the tractor. I look for them at swap meets to do an old farm truck someday, just never find any.

Well here are 3 of the people that led us to be stuck with the smell proof glue when I started building. LOL Yes that smell takes me back to my older brothers room when I was a kid also. Mom would yell up the stairs are you painting? I as a young dumb kid always said NO! LOL

Make a speedster out of the convertible. Corvette chassis but put an AMC 6 in it.
