What happened to automotive "journalism", rant ahead

You are correct but these are pull outs in the center of the magazine. No other place in a magazine works. Yes I know about centerfolds I had them in my locker at school until a teacher has a good look. Mostly because it was not locked and other kids kept opening it up. LOL -

So I am not the only one that wonder about this also. Funny how when a rusty example turns up on car auction sites people get all crazy about them. New one old one they look the same to me, just like the Model T and the Beetle. None of the above are bad cars just always had the same look. -

Several years ago my uncle was telling us why he dropped his subscription to these magazines. He was talking about how they were complaining the Lincoln Town Car had to soft of a ride. He is a Chevy fan but he was so dumbfounded that a car magazine Journalist had no idea that a Town Car was not a sports car. We all got a good chuckle about it. The biggest no no in journalism I learned in high school working on the yearbook. You never place a photo across the fold in a book or magazine because it will be distorted by the fold. Yet time and time again every car magazine I read does it almost every month. So what do they teach in college? -
How big is this? I guess I should ask what scale. I looked and found out. Cool kit.

I went and looked at the moved post and read it. A very nice car. I like it I am a Ford Guy. Your comment in your post makes me thing it is now in the right place. Dennis take no offense from me or the mod's as they do a good job here for us, it is just our opinion. Not a big deal we have all had things moved here and there. -

I would say that would be perfect from the trucks I have seen with boxes. Mostly wreckers from a place by older brother worked at years ago. The farmer's I know make them work for them with things that stay in there all the time and things that come and go. Yes I grew up 1 mile north of the border, my buddies great aunt's house was in Ohio but her front porch was in Michigan. -

Darren you were asking about the inside of the cabinets for the hauler a few pages back. Did you find an answer for this truck? The ones my Dad had made for our bus camper were just wide open boxes that he put tool boxes in and blocks for leveling or whatever he thought we needed. You could put shelves in if want to no way to. This is looking very cool. -
I has a good trade with fomocomav, as smooth as it gets.

Man do I like this. We had a buzz saw that we used for years. We put the tractor on the other side of the saw so the long pieces did not get near the belt. The sad part is dad loaned it out and cannot remember to whom with the stroke and all.

1/24 Ford GT40 Mk1 engine 3d printed by myself
1930fordpickup replied to mad mike's topic in Model Cars
I would like to add to what the others have said about the quality of the 427 engine and transaxle. This is truly what I have been waiting for from the 3d printed world in 1/25th scale. -
Off the top of my head. Amt 50 Chevy Truck ( Bruce commented on ) , 1953 Corvette Blue Flame 6 MPC Willys Jeep, Monogram 88 Thunderbird Turbo Coupe , Monogram Duesenberg Has an Inline 6 or 8. Now with some looking around. Lindberg 29 Mercedes Benz SSK has an inliner. The Olds Aerotech has a Quad 4, newly released Datson Pickup has a 4 cylinder, Amt Courier has a Turbo 2.3 4 , 1932 Chevy has a 6 roadster and the delivery also, Monogram 31 Rolls Royce has a 6. What does the 30's Packard Boat tail have in it? The one I have not seen mentioned yet is the Hudson kits. With that being Said I am in with a Hudson. I think I have one here.

Outstanding I would be interested in at least one of these. If you could do the 351 Cleveland and transaxle for the Pantera I would be ordering one of those also. -
I have driven and rode in the back all the way from the 1st exit in Michigan to Daytona Florida twice. I highly recommend it. Not many people can talk about their ride in the back of a Hearse. Looks good.
