  1. May 12 at Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino After 80 years of accumulating stuff it's time to sell some of his famous cars, trophies and other items. 1974 Dodge Charger - 31 wins and his 5th Daytona 500 1981 Daytona 500 trophy Uniforms, watches, knifes and trophies are some of the things listed. Petty said he has more cars and memorabilia than he can showcase in his museum in Level Cross N.C. From the Toledo Blade.
  2. Keep at it. looks better than my kit at 12. I like your subject. Also, did you forget the tail lights or leave them off because it was a beater?
  3. I like this. The more the people that look the more that may join and buy plastic.
  4. Just when you think an old project was lost to time and photobucket it reappears. I am glad you are back at it.
  5. Wow I knew that the pacer was wider than the normal small car but that is cool how it worked out. Should handle better than stock.
  6. Nice work Pat. How was the width from the chassis to the body?
  7. Normaly only overnight will remover most paint. Stubborn stuff maybe a few days. A reminder of what was typed earlier, keep it room temperature but not hot. If it is sitting out in the cold or in the basement the time is longer. If you have time in the morning pull it out and scrub away because something when you get a spot to start it goes faster. If you have to go to easy off read through the thread for the correct color cap, one works the other does not.
  8. I like this, very cool.
  9. Looks good, great color choice.
  10. Another heck yes vote.
  11. Looks good TJ.
  12. What's not to like here. Good job Pat.
  13. Not a fan of the car but I like the movies and your work is great. Yes on the how to.
  14. Very cool, I like the stockish looking bed.
  15. Great color James.
  16. Leave the small block in there. It will push it that down the road fine.
  17. He ran a Boss 429. Car was built for a 351 Cleveland but because of a rules change he made the switch. He said it was the Worst handling car he ever drove at the time, like a fuel Altered.
  18. Looks pretty good from that casting. Not the best looking Mercury Pickup design but you pulled it off.
  19. I like this also. They could be on their own tree and if they want to use them again just slip in the box of a complete kit at a later date.
  20. A nice set of wire wheels. A 351 Cleveland would be nice. Hop up parts from the 40's - the 70's would be nice. Not sure how to go about that break up though. Some Photo Etch parts like brackets for Alternator and power steering pump would be nice. How about some suspension parts like a straight axle, rear end parts for drag cars. Wheel tubs maybe.
  21. I like it.
