  1. How long does it take to print the 4 tires and wheels? I have so many questions that I should stop myself before I end up with one of these. LOL
  2. You would think that these model companies would have someone looking at current trends on sales on web sites for pricing to figure out what needs to be rereleased. After how long some of the prices stay strong I am thinking they do not. It takes them years after a trend to put out kits they already have molds of. Brand Licensing must be the cause.
  3. I called my buddy and I was wrong it was not a 3/4 scale but a custom that was sitting very low on a different frame but out back in the brush. He said his son picked it up after dad moved up north. It was at the shop for decades. I guess It just looked smaller to my eye from so far away. sorry about the miss information.
  4. This is going to be interesting to watch go together. What CAD program are you using? Is it a free version or something you get with the printer?
  5. Sorry I forgot to say that the Orange truck is cool.
  6. There was a body shop down the road from me. A friend of the owner (Randy) was working on one of these for a long time. If I recall right the body was all done waiting on paint and windows. I believe it was scrapped.

  8. How fast would have this plane been without the pontoons holding it back? Been in a few float ( Beaver's and an Otter)planes in Canada fishing and they are great. We were not going that fast. LOL
  9. The best Pacer Model I have ever seen.
  10. Tom you are lucky to get one of these. Used one back in school while in journalism class. Always made sure I watched my fingers.
  11. Went to go play cards with an old friend and his son. Came home with a lowrider S-10 kit.

  16. It was reported that this Merc will be at the Detroit Auto Rama. I guess it will be making the rounds on the show scene again.
  17. I do know there are more V12 Auburn boat tail Roadsters than the factory produced. That is not the only cloned car as other high end cars have been rebuilt from the parts of wrecked originals( as stated on the forum before) ending up with 2 of the same car. Ohio did not require insurance until the late 80's by law, if I remember correctly. MY point, per the show once the car left the dealership there is no known trail of the car. It could have been wrecked or stolen and IF the car was not insured it was the owners loss. Yes back then even into the 70's you could buy a car on credit without insurance. They could also know the Number of the Missing Shelby from the area and playing that up.
  18. Thank you for the answer Charlie. I am enjoying another one of your builds.
  19. Did the military go with soft top trucks for transportation over seas.
  20. If it fits in the rules or not this is going to be cool.
