  1. Another good one. These are great.
  2. Greg if you have ever sharpened a knife you can sharpen these. Now if you have nick's in the edge, it will still work but you might as well just buy a new pair.
  3. The old one and the new one look great.
  4. Rodger this is looking good. I like the box top roof. They are hard to find, and plenty of the vert's are out there so you can build a his and hers.
  5. Could the Mickey Thompson Sportsman tires be from the AMT 67 Chevelle pro street kit?
  6. Thank You Lee. My late brother built the 4200 back in the day. So far it is lost in time, unless my other brother has it packed away at his house.
  7. What is the difference between the 2 trucks?
  8. Not a bad showing with all things considered. I didn't get there until it was 11:00 2 hours into the show.
  9. A Lid will not seal without a gasket, a car won't roll with out wheels.
  10. If you are trying to see if your local Walmart has models, you will have to go to the website for that store. Then look under in store only.
  11. What is the point of a cap without a gasket? That is like a car with no rims and tires, a house with no roof...........
  12. The Holland Ohio store has a few left. Not worth the drive for you unless you stop on the way to the toy show on the 9th.
  13. I buy to much. But they keep on bringing back cool stuff like the Nova wagon.
  14. Yes I agree with the rest. Well done on this. The ASA cars do need to be rereleased soon.
  15. Looks right at home as a gasser.
  16. This is cool, but I think it should be in the Truck section.
  17. This is a very good build. don't see many of these other cab overs built up.
  18. Greg just watch out for small parts falling off of the engine when you strip it. I will use a smaller (think take out plastic dish) and not my big bucket when stripping glue bomb parts. This has saved me a few head aches with almost lost parts. I just poor the small dish out in a screened cup to catch the small parts. Yes paint flakes do get caught in the screen, but so do the small parts like the oil filler tube on a 283.
  19. With the cost of Shipping what it is , even the extra Coke cost it is worth it to pick up a few of these kits. I did my part to get them to bring kits in this area again next year.
  20. I talked to him today, and yes it is to keep the front down. He said he went 157 on that bike once this year. The local Drag strip ( Milan) is closed and for sale.
  21. The extended swing arm is to keep the front down when they drag race, from what I can tell. I can ask the kid at work that ran his at Norwalk this weekend. 8.4 in the 1/4 if I remember correctly. Mostly stock except for the longer swing arm. I tell him he is a nut. LOL
