I went back and reread the listing. He (the original owner) did purchase the car from his fathers dealership with more miles than he was allowed to drive it. His words , "I got to order a 10,000 demo " so after his dad called for him to return the car they made a deal of 3,300 for the car already having 17,000 miles on it. -
Chip Foose kits.....
1930fordpickup replied to BlackSheep214's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Just don't look in my stash. The last show I went to, in Detroit area I walked by a roadster in a box of kits. I stopped in my tracks when I seen the price tag of 10 bucks. Another kit that when it came out I thought I could always get more at the next show. Nope, they seemed to vaporize in thin air. LOL -

If you don't have the car in your name on a title Can you insure it? How does the interior look that bad from a car that sat inside? Resprayed here and there , so how many miles are really on this old 1/4 mile warrior? If the guy never put it in his name to avoid taxes and other costs how can you believe anything he says? -
Chip Foose kits.....

I like the Foose Truck and the Caddy model kits. Nice kits when a they are done and a good parts source for parts to improve older kits. -

I sure hope we see that Rat Roadster out again. There were not many around after the first round of shows like the other 32 offerings. Looks like the other 32 roadster was offered in 1999, 2005 and 2005 as the good guys version. Those are also not an easy find anymore. Maybe the next round of open swap meet & shows will change this. -

Most large big box store are like this. Timmy sits behind a desk and tells the everyone what goes where in every store. The only difference is, if it a right or left hand store. -
Braided Fishing Line
1930fordpickup replied to Straightliner59's topic in Tips, Tricks, and Tutorials
I would like to note that fishing line becomes smaller in diameter because of better tech. So if you are at a garage sale look for braided line there. -
If you want to talk other fuel sources for Cars, Propane does not have the power of gas but has been and still is used for decades. In fact the paper company my brother worked for has used propane for over 30 years and still do. They just warm the trucks up on gas when loaded. Very clean engines inside when they give up the ghost. Many City owed cars over the years have been powered by naturel gas off and On for decades. The one thing that is in common with what we are able to have in a mass market cant be owned by us at home. So if you can fill your own fuel cell at home with a do it yourself kit sorry about your luck. Sorry if this is to close to the line of the forum.

Braided Fishing Line
1930fordpickup replied to Straightliner59's topic in Tips, Tricks, and Tutorials
Daniel there should be a diameter of the line on the spool someplace. I think you said it was around .040 diameter. What was the test weight of the line. It normally has line test weight and the diameter of the line on the spool and package. Then I looked up what you have purchased and nothing on the package. LOL Here is a link that has some info. https://www.basspro.com/shop/en/western-filament-tuf-line-xp-1200-yards?ds_e=MICROSOFT&ds_c=Shop|Generic|AllProducts|High|SSCCatchAll&gclid=0648975f61b91faea71ff64dd395e2df&gclsrc=3p.ds&msclkid=0648975f61b91faea71ff64dd395e2df -

This came out great. -
Sad news for sure. There was a Buck Rodgers episode that she was on last night.

Looks great. I agree with the others, not boring or ugly.

That wagon is cool. There is a peacock running around my dads house. The owner said they can keep him fenced in. He is a free range bird now. Yes, he makes some funny noises when you are used to chickens.

Wow! Video of purchased collection!
1930fordpickup replied to Tom Geiger's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Standard You Tube reveal video. Nothing Big so far but several kits that would North of 40 for sure. Considering the rumor that you get 3 to5 per kit with a large sale like this, he will get his money back but will take a long time too pedal them all. Some nice kits in the stash so far. The second video has a few more JO-Han kits. -
What Cab is the truck in video?
