  1. Lets just leave this to the original post for now to Help Randy. Before it gets locked. The selling has already been discussed here more than once. Just do it in a PM. Just as Erik just said we had enough of the drama with a few people in the trades already. I was burned by one that is enough.
  2. Looks great the way it is Ray. Around here most bus windows are tinted anymore. So not Lazy just building with the times.
  3. Looks great. The under the hood detail makes my day.
  4. I agree with the others. This is very well done.
  5. As far as sealed Hot Wheels toys for tots. if it gets down to this. As far as the parts boxes maybe look in the wanted section. Good luck Randy a lot of us may be in this same boat sooner than later.
  6. Great Idea Tom. This came out nice. If you get ahold of a front clip that would look good on the trailer also. Maybe a different color or white like a new fiberglass unit.
  7. Sounds like an accountant in the board room telling the boss he will not get a 5 million dollar bonus if they fix it right. What the accountant forgot to say was, we will lose a lot of sales because of this.
  8. This is so cool. Looks great.
  9. If they are after making money in the long run they will keep investing in the different kits that we have not seen in a awhile. I believe that is what these people want, to make money. This should be a better marriage than the last failed attempt was. On the bright side if it is not our stash of 5 dollar kits will double in value.
  10. Another great one leaves us here. RIP.
  11. This is still coming along nicely. Great upgrades to this.
  12. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Ren-Board-Renshape-450-Assortment-Flat-Rate-Box-16/203164540079?hash=item2f4d8cdcaf:g:wzYAAOSwa39foDBI this is what we used when we purchased renshape. It is a good quality and not the soft stuff. I don't care for the softer modeling board. I like the 450 this guy is selling. Tom I am sending you a PM.
  13. The cheaper the product the dustier and softer it is , with my experience using it. I don't like the cheaper version because it messes with me when We used it at work. This is the place we purchased the brand we used. (Not Ren-Shape brand name as the is the Freemans supply product I believe.) http://www.bp-ind.com/modeling---tooling-boards.html
  14. He was a great man. He may have had way more home runs had they not pitched around him like they did often.
  15. I think the biggest problem is not enough sorting locations. I know they were trying to copy the fedex way.
  16. Charlie I have no idea what the cost of the printed molds would be. But Machinist cost to clean them up will be a lot more than a few hundred dollars. Just as you said still cheaper than cutting steel molds for short run subjects. The bodies alone for use on existing chassis would be great Cabs for Semi's
  17. 3D printing is still heading tin the right direction for sure.
  18. Short runs of a 1000 makes this an interesting option for some subjects. I wonder what kind of tolerance they can hold. A station wagon mold of a 70's car or other low production models would be good for this.
  19. Maybe figure out the peg you would need to use and paint them with a color code. Then with a piece of paper give yourself a step by step plan before you start. That way when you have to go help your wife you will know where you are at. I would have to do this if I attempt it.
  20. I bet those wagon kits are selling fast.
  21. I have done what David (ESPO) has aid. Filter out the paint chunk's and poured it back in the bucket. Same stuff for 3 or 4 years now. I have stripped more than a few glue bombs and a lot of parts in the bucket. There is Purple Power and super clean along with Zep brand degreaser in the bucket. It is a 3 gallon bucket with a Gama Seal on it. It is a screw on lid with an o-ring seal on it. (I picked up the Lid at Meijer but they also are sold from Duluth Trading) Snake the fastest a body ever stripped for me was about 3 hours in the bucket. That was a warm day 90 degrees plus that day and I did not have an air conditioning at the time. When I want to strip something I bring the bucket out of the basement for a couple of days to warm it up.
  22. Wow this came out great.
  23. If you take them apart it would just be gears.
