  1. Pete hit the nail right on the head Bill. Also if you buy an off brand, when you go to unload it for a better one you might be stuck.
  2. Looks sweet .
  3. Nice work. The red glass works good with the black paint.
  4. Not a MOPAR guy but I have a few friends that are. They have always ran the 440, even when you could afford to run a Hemi in the late 70'S early 80'S. The one guy was even a street racer, he liked the reliability of the 440. He would say, I don't make money wrenching on my cars.
  5. Jonathan you are not alone in thinking about rodding one of these classics. You already have better advice than I could give. Just think of it as a long term project.
  6. Thank you Carl. I feel the same about you.
  7. Looks good
  8. Prayers for you and your family. If you need someone to talk to we are here. Not an easy road for your family.
  9. I think it all comes down to licensing anymore. Back in the 60's when kits were hot they would have sold, after all not everyone purchased a Tri 5 Chevy. Not everyone even wants one now. The Oldsmobile, Pontiac and Buick were a better car and looked better than the cheap car line of Chevy.
  10. Randy maybe just put this in a sand-rail so everyone can drool over your fine work. This is awesome by the way.
  11. I like this also. My brother had a 67 Rebel he purchased from the elderly lady down the road. Funny the blue it was painted was close to the blue on yours.
  12. Prayers for you and your family Carl. Stay as long as you can because we need your input.
  13. Renting a van would be more than the shipping, but like the others have said you get to look at what you are buying.
  14. That is amazing. Well done.
  15. Looks great!
  16. Another vote for well done. That color is close to the 68 Ford Fairlane my brother had for a few year.
  17. Great color choice Paul. I hope you don't have to strip it.
  18. Yes I have had the big adds also. Normaly the adds were of things you look for in your search, but not anymore. They are random anymore.
  19. Yes, between the side walk and street is the city's property most of the time. They will give you nothing but a bill.
  20. This looks even better now.
  21. The 2 stores here had none of the 48 Fords or the Suburbans on the shelf. The girl in Monroe MI store told me they were flying out the door. They did have one Big Red Rod there.Ships and Stage Coach and a few of the Cannon kits. Toledo store had a few ships and the Cannons.
  22. Went to the Monroe MI store and they had the 65 ford dirt car and the new 29 roadster kit.
  23. Nice work. Those rear tires are spot on .
  24. Went to Hobby Lobby after visiting Dad and I picked up a Revell VW kit.
