  1. Most of us had a crush on her, those short shorts. She will be missed also.
  2. Yes he has been all of the albums sense 72 or so. If any of you guys are on Face Book Bob Seger did a very nice wright up.
  3. Sax player from Bob Seger's Band The Silver Bullet Band Passed away from Colon Cancer . If you don't know who he is, he is the Guy that played Sax on Turn The Page. https://www.bing.com/videos/search?q=turn+the+page+bob+seger&&view=detail&mid=17A3E25C522D910B6B8817A3E25C522D910B6B88&&FORM=VRDGAR&ru=%2Fvideos%2Fsearch%3Fq%3Dturn%2Bthe%2Bpage%2Bbob%2Bseger%26qpvt%3Dturn%2Bthe%2Bpage%2Bbob%2Bseger%26FORM%3DVDRE
  4. Merry Christmas to everyone here.
  5. I read someplace that it was still going to drop in time square, but only cameras will be there. I bet they show old footage, like a best of.
  6. David you are not wrong about the price and the fitting of parts. This an old set of tooling for sure. Not an excuse for non fitting parts. I am sure in the old days this parts fit better than they do now. Plastic is abrasive and does wear the molds. If you want to find out how old a kit is before you buy it ask here. There has been some good advice given to try help you out, take that and move forward. You will end up with a nice model or a nice learning experience when you are finished.
  7. Looks good Roger
  8. Thank you So these are just like the Bug and the Porsche 911, the same for decades.
  9. good point. After looking at Kerry's reshaped wheel openings it looks fine. I just did not like the stock openings.
  10. I started to rework one of these awhile ago. I have been struggling to move the rear axle back and I see I am not the only one that does not care for the long trunk on these. Kerry using the Cobra for a donner is a great idea.
  11. USA late mid 70's is when we used to cruise around with a friend of my Dads.
  12. For the not so into VW folks, what year or years is this bus anyway?
  13. Very cool. A Maverick fan myself I am glad to see one built.
  14. There is also a copy of that release on ebay now. 55bucks, but there is no long roof.
  15. My oldest brother did the Tassels thing in 77 and the rest of us followed until the youngest in 94. Garters caught at the wedding reception was also a thing around here for awhile Fuzzy dice not so much for the kids in the 80's.
  16. There is an instruction sheet for sale with the Hombre Jeepster. It says 1977, I had to zoom it in. Grainy pic, after the date I think it says fun dimensions.
  17. I think this is nice. I am glad I took a look in here today. As misterNNL has said, another view would be nice.
  18. Jeff I feel your pain with presents. What has happened to you is why I don't get into gift exchanges and was the first to leave the family name draw. You give them 3 things to choose from still random things they want to buy for you. I am the Grinch of the family they say.
  19. Yes this would help a lot of people get along better in life with less help from the outside world. Compatibility is my biggest worry with this. What happens when you drop your 5 year old smart phone and now have to have half of your house replaced because you can no longer use it properly.
  20. How long until your new phone dose not work with the old tech in your house appliances? I am asking because I would like to know , not picking at what you have. My sister has a ew car that does not have a button for the Auto start, she has to use her phone.
  21. Looks great Dave. Always nice to see those normal cars built.
  22. What did I see today that was different? Plow trucks , spreading salt. To wet for pictures.
  23. David this is some very cool work you posted.
