  1. The Tail light are just to thin compared to the thickness of the tail light panel on this car. It has nothing to do with what they came from. If they made a one off copies twice as tall it would look better. The side stripes are also confusing to me. The thicker the car side gets the thinner the strip gets. At the front the big wide and downward hockey stick stripe is at the thinnest part of the car.
  2. This is awesome. I agree what a nice tribute to great men.
  3. Looks the part. well done.
  4. This is incredible.
  5. Swing and a miss for me.
  6. Stopped into the Local Hobby shop and picked up the S10 square body with a stock grill. Finally.
  7. Thankyou for the great photos of what needs fixed and where to do it. This is going to be very cool when done.
  8. Wow this is great. Where did the rims and hubs come from?
  9. Well Tom you have not posted in awhile but you came back with 2 outstanding models.
  10. Sure looks like a real truck to me. Well done.
  11. Once dry, the kits can be bagged and placed in large boxes or plastic totes. He will have a lot to take care of before the plastic, but try and put the kits are in the bag on piece of paper.
  12. The photo above is why those Stingray style bikes are so hard to get anymore. laying on the ground behind 2 different cars in the driveway.
  13. Went to Ollies and came home with a Halo snap kit and then to Hobby Lobby. Another 29 roadster (That someone opened it from the back side but left the cellophane on the front. I checked it out when a store employee walked up and It is a complete kit) a couple of the Foose Trucks and for some reason a 53 Ford and another 57 Chevy Snapper( I forgot I already have this ugly car). I will Build the 57 as the normal rusted relic we see around here. The other 57 will be a project for my house bound friend.
  14. That is a combo exhaust/fuel heater like on the big rigs so it don't jell up on you in the cold states up here. LOL So it must be one of those GM diesels that don't run long.
  15. Yes low pressure is all we run through our air guns anyway. For a long time my brother used an innertube from a car tire to spray models. Not that high of pressure but it gave him the volume. That would be the point of the home made plastic pipe tank anyway. With a couple of elbows or a t you could use wasted space to gather volume.
  16. Bernard, once again you have taken a simple model turned it into a complex build that you knocked out of the park. Nice work on the Leftover Rod. I also would like to thank you for have a good idea where the parts came from, even though you did not even use them on this. I guess Drag City Castings needs more of my money. LOL Most of use just toss the extra parts in the parts box, but a few of you guys know where or what kit they are from. I am learning even though I finish nothing. Thank You very much for sharing your knowledge.
  17. Rays Food truck..... Just kidding. This is going to be cool. I did not know he did the longer version of the International metro truck. I think that is what this is.
  18. Not I see they are 2 different years I guess. Sorry for hat.
  19. The AMT 280ZX Turbo kit has the bumper guards. Kit #AMT 1043/12. not my pic. From the web
