  1. Finding good wheels when you get one that is only parts is not easy. With the prices of these on ebay more than a few of us like this kit.
  2. This is a good and brave idea to make it a 2 door. I like it.
  3. Nice
  4. I can hear Cheech & Chong playing in the tape deck from here. I love it.
  5. They all look good to me.
  6. Looks good.
  7. Now that is a way to finish up the year.
  8. Another nice Model. Tim didn't take any guff back in the day. NASCA sure lost a lot when he past.
  9. That is a very nice model. I started this one when it came out way back. Dropped it twice while painting the body, after the second time it looked like Dirty Dale was trying to pass after I stepped on it. Yeah not a good moment to be angry. LOL
  10. Don't tell people but SUV's / crossovers are just a station wagon anyway. Still cracks me up when someone replaces a name and we humans fall for it. The biggest reason people love the crossovers and suvs is they are easy to get in and out of and you can see better.
  11. What you say is somewhat true. The other way to look at it is what are the alternatives? They can only fill the shelves with what they can get. In your post you said you wanted to spend a ton of company money on a large group of GM branded cars. Not that it is a bad thing but expand on how you could save money, Like use the same engine tooling on the Chebby brand as they are the same. One small mold only paying for the tooling cost and getting more bang for your buck. If it gets a big block throw that sprue in. If it gets the small block throw that one in. Exhaust and intake could have many options on the same "molded part". Wheels could be dealt with the same way. Just put the correct wheel covers on the body sprue. Why do they constantly repay for what they already have. A smaller machine takes up less space and square footage is expensive.
  12. Yes the whole thought of this is funny. Almost looks like he is trying to look out the slot for the barrell to aim and drive. Looks to be a gas tank in the middle of the frame as I see a cap of some sort. Maybe it is a big canteen to hold the liquor so you get the guts to try and use it. I think the recoil may help in retreating.
  13. That came out nice. Takes me back to high school in the 80's.
  14. Is that a 4'x6' box with 3/32 holes about 1/2 apart and an Aluminum top piece?
  15. Looks good to me.
  16. I would like to add to my earlier post, I like how you took a kit that many people do not like and made a beauty out of it.
  17. Ace are those am boxes in the front under the gun? Still not enough but better than on foot.
  18. I think they called the top grill the Work Truck grill.
  19. Wow that looks so much better.
  20. I second that
  21. Like the others have said good idea and welcome aboard the forum.
  22. Another good looking model Chuck.
  23. I think the same thing when I see people go nuts over a 57 Chevy, an ugly car with an oversized bumper and grill with fake chrome fins stuck on the side. Just because we may or may like a car does not say others can not. Not sure what the guy problem is but we all could make a few guesses. Looking around at what old show cars are bringing at auction prices is a good start.
  24. The Nova SS, the Pontiac Ventura and the Novacaine were released in 1972. Everything else was after, from the Directory.
