  1. The letters in the centre look to be FMC (Ford Motor Company?) I think they may be from the Modelhaus but I don't remember ordering them and have no idea which car they belong to. Any ideas? Hosted on Fotki
  2. Thanks for your encouraging comments guys. Mike, glad you noticed the finer flake grain - took me a while to find. Errol, here is a link to the Swiss chrome plating company: http://www.kaltbrunner.ch/de/index.php?Beschichtungen:Metallisierung But be warned, they are expensive.
  3. Thanks Paul. Hoping to finish a black XK120 next.
  4. Well spotted Steve - also a 62 Fairlane, 68 Imperial, 53 Studebaker and a Jaguar XK120. The 57 Chrysler bumpers on the right will go on an already finished model. Glad you like the Le Mans and that the colour is recognisable: I mixed it myself from photos, all of which seemed to differ slightly in hue. I used Gravity Colours Alcoa silver and added some transparent red and a dash of yellow.
  5. ...not an awful lot this year but I haven't been entirely un-busy. Spent a lot of time preparing pieces to be re-chromed. The company I take them to isn't cheap but they do an excellent job - this is about half of them: Hosted on Fotki I've also been working on 2 or 3 cars and this restoration of a 64 Tempest Le Mans should get finished this month if all goes well. I'm using the engine, chassis and wheels from the AMT 65 GTO. Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki
  6. Excellent!
  7. You really nailed it Paul. I see one of these regularly as the local garage owner has one.
  8. Didn't see it before but it sure is a beautiful '58.
  9. That's looking fabulous already.
  10. Way to go, so much better.
  11. Great looking model and very convincing photos.
  12. Love that interior.
  13. Great looking model. The black paint and whitewalls really set it apart (plus the fact that it's built stock).
  14. Looks great, might have to get one.
  15. Excellent job Curt, a real beauty.
  16. I really like this - perfect colour combo and the seat decals look great.

    34 Ford

That's two very nicely built stock 34s in a week!
  18. Haven't seen a '62 in a while. Excellent job!
  19. I agree with you Matt - the Matchbox 1/32nd kits are excellent and you did a beautiful job on the Ulster.
  20. I agree with the others - the engine bay and weathering are top notch.
  21. Looks great! The '61 is my favorite 60s Ford.
  22. Looks great!
  23. I like it too.
  24. I agree with Simon - a beauty!
