    1928 pickup

I really like this. The metal finishes are just right and give the whole thing a visual weight that belies its plastic origins.

Those old classic kits aren't easy but very rewarding when done well - and you've done VERY well!
  4. Excellent work as always Geoff and I love the colour.
  5. Excellent all round and those hinges are a nice touch.
  6. Great looking model, fantastic restoration work.
  7. Both excellent!
  8. "Good or bad"? Good, very good!
  9. I have mixed memories of my father's 74 Cortina 2000E, very similar to this car but white with a tan vinyl roof and interior. Mixed because I loved that car but I also wrecked it . Here's a recent purchase, a very nice Corgi:
  10. I only really like customs when they improve on, or at least rival the original design and that's exactly what you're doing here. Beautiful work as always, looking forward to more progress.
  11. 60s Pontiacs are my favourite cars, right up there with 50/60s Jaguars and Cadillacs. I'm doing a 64 Lemans convertible at the moment. BTW the AMT 62 Pontiacs have clear steering wheels - but I suppose you know that. I really love what you do with these classic kits and I'll be following along, as always.
  12. Nice work detailing the lights and grille.
  13. All-round excellence!
  14. Very nice, excellent work with the BMF.
  15. I like that interior too.
  16. Very nice - and of course I like the stock one best. 1957 was a great year for american cars.
  17. Fine looking model!
  18. You did a great job on one of my favourite Johan kits.
  19. Very nice! Funny how the engine colour, a given if you're building stock, can go so well with the body/interior choices. That's certainly the case here.
  20. Yes, Zealand is a Danish island. But New Zealand was originally named by the dutch explorer Abel Tasman after Zeeland, a province of Holland. Captain Cook later anglicised it to New Zealand. I wish it was still called Aotearoa, as the Maori people called it for hundreds of years before europeans "discovered" it. Aotearoa means "land of the long white cloud".
  21. Great looking model and excellent photos.
  22. Outstanding model and VERY effective photography!
  23. Very nice - I specially like the way the interior is done.
  24. Have a look here https://squareup.com/store/laski-scale-specialties/ Scroll down under "Shop" to Mad Automotive Detail - the radiator and heater hose appear to have printed markings on them.
