  1. I would be proud of that build were it mine. Very nice.
  2. When all I see are letter and numbers and it is posted by Pat, I click. Killer plane Pat. What the heck was it used for?
  3. I finished it but am too lazy to break it back out and snap a pic. LOL....
  4. I have the Chevrolet Goodwrench truck kit. It is painted black and I was in the process of removing a bad decal job the previous guy did. The engine and axle are partially assembled (well), the rest is untouched. It has a new Slixx decal set to boot. The decals ara impossible to get these days. Its not a Ford though...
  5. I got my kits on eBay for 15 a piece. But that was 8 years ago or so. The Monogram NAPA truck I bought was 30.00 I think and the AMT kits are about the same. Great kits of unusual subjects and that was the appeal.
  6. The Banana Splits 6 wheeler and figures are available from Jimmy Flinstone. I have been after them for a long time and finally found Jimmy was making them in resin. However... You are going to HATE the price. Look on his site or eBay. I wanted them bad... Not THAT bad.
  7. I never thought this kit could look this good. Wow...
  8. Fantastic color combo. Could pass for 1:1 with the right background.
  9. The components themselves seem to be the same as their car counterparts. The chassis is simply made to fit the truck asthetic. IE Laughlin front steer components, engine.
  10. The guy 3 houses down has that same truck. It is always filled with odd stuff at nearly all times. Not sure what he does for a living but his truck is involved. His is a green home spray over what I think was white.
  11. I have never been a big green guy but that particular shade is a particularly good one. Very nice build with the right upgrades.
  12. What a beautiful car.. You did a fantastic job on those decals and the chassis looks outstanding. My question is... How large was that decal sheet? There must have been 2.
  13. Looks like it's ready to rumble Dave.
  14. It certainy does. I built one for a friend when it came out. It still resides in his office to remind him of what he had and what he gave up to have his current family. He says no regrets, the model makes him happy.
  15. Amy news as to the IROC? That is one kit I am positively giddy to see once again.
  16. That is a seriously groovy time capsule Tim.
  17. Gorgeous build and color choice. Stunning at every angle.
  18. A few of those shots could pass for real. Quite a scale to work in. I know because I build 40K and smaller resin figures.
  19. Time well spent at the bench I would say. Very well done.
  20. Awesome story Dave. Having a connection so profound with a vehicle is something thay stays with us always.
  21. You'll forgive me as I see none of the flaws you are talking about Ray. All I see is a bitchin GT in a very nice yellow waiting to scream down the Mulsanne Straight. Well done brother.
  22. You pulled it off somehow T. This kit is frustrating to builders of all stripes. As you mentioned the ill fitting wheels I recall several other items. You not only survived but came out the other side with a brilliant build.
  23. Very nice build. We all see the flaws in our work as they glare at and mock us every time we look at our builds. Meanwhile the rest of the world see our creations as a whole and rarely see our booboo's.
  24. This is my first ever Camping World/Nastruck build and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The manual seemed vague in a few spots but after a few searches of images I believe everything is in its correct position. Decanted Duplicolor white enamel and Testors Willow green with a touch of blue/black got the shade close, then readied with lacquer thinner through my airbrush. The decals were iffy being on such a tanned backing paper. I was suspicious if they would wprk, but they did fine. The Q on the hood tints the white underneath just a tad. It looks better in person as I think my phone exaggerates it. Not much else to say except the angled supports that go through the window and rear cover are sitting in the box. I made the removable but left them out for pics. When it finds a home on the shelf I will install them. These are really sweet little trucks with big power and noise. This truck has a great stance and is all attitude.
