  1. I see it in the browsers if I go to http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums, not seeing it with https urls (such as https://modelcarsmag.com or https://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums). I think you need to set up a web server http redirect to the https url.
  2. Not sure which message you are referring to, but I still see the 'Not Secure' before the URL on Safari and Chrome. And the 'this connection is not secure' warning in the username and password fields when logging in on Firefox.
  3. Model Roundup lists both releases, $5 apart ($24.90 and $29.90). I got the RoG release from HLJ last month, I may pick up one of the US releases for parts (want to kit bash w/a Mustang).
  4. I'll probably get an extra step side to use the bed w/ a '69. Originally planned on using a Revell '56 bed, but this should fit better.
  5. Probably just indicating restocking...
  6. It would be nice to see new wheels and tires for the Monaco. I don't have the most recent Joker version, but I assume it still has the overly wide wheels like previous issues.
  7. Got mine today, neat kit...lots of extra parts. Some pictures here http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/topic/66689-what-did-you-get-today-model-car-related-items/?do=findComment&comment=2087359
  8. Interesting...been a while since I saw both of those movies, don't recall seeing that car.. must have been in brief scenes..I remember the Audis more.
  9. Got one of the new Moebius '66 Ford F100 stepsides from Model Roundup today..looks good at first glance. It has a straight 6, though there are two styles of chrome V8 valve covers on the parts trees. 2 sets of hubcaps w extra 4WD style hubcaps, a set of aftermarket wheels, 4 sets of mirrors, two styles of badging—-all parts for future variations.
  10. My favorite oldies are AMT, MPC and Johan '60s-70s annuals...have most of the ones I've wanted to collect over the years, w/ a few gaps.
  11. Interesting..they'll probably just rebox the '67 Impala SS kit and hope people don't notice that it's a 2dr.. (J/K, a '67 Impala 4dr ht would be neat to have in kit form).
  12. Haven’t heard anything about a Supernatural kit, Greenlight has done diecast in several scales, I could see Round 2 doing diecast ones with one of their many brands.
  13. I wonder if anyone has made a rat rod or hot rod out of a Little Tykes Cozy Coupe...
  14. I'm a subscriber, and given the past performance, I'm quite skeptical that we will see 6 issues per year in the future. Just the facts.
  15. I assume it means they validated the slide rule was an accurate slide rule.
  16. I don't think so... There was a 2n1 version that included stock wheels. (the yellow version on the box art has the stock wheels).
  17. Speaking of tile, I love this ceramic tile I put in my living room a couple years ago...replaced carpeting and the original 1967 tile. Looks like worn barn wood.
  18. I see an Allstate auto insurance ad.
  19. I like that mosaic tile... I'm holding off on bathroom remodeling for now...the 3 in my house (been here 2 years now) look like they were remodeled maybe 20 years ago and are in good shape. I am replacing various light fixtures throughout the house, and eventually want to remodel the finished basement. The rec room down the (which I'm using for storage currently) is very 1970s style w/ faux wood paneling. No shag carpeting, though. I'm thinking of eventually reworking it into a home theatre room or a hobby room (I currently have my models in a spare bedroom). Fun stuff to think about...
  20. No, both the '69s are 1/25th. The '70 Boss 302, Boss 429 and Mach 1 kits are 1/24th.
  21. That's neat...reminds me of a scaled up version of vehicles from a series Hot Wheels used to have.
  22. Saw that..a sad reminder of the current state of the hobby in the US.
  23. Actually, on the MCM Subscribe page, it is for a number of issues per year.
  24. Neat lamp at the top of that photo..I bought one like that for my living but haven't installed it yet...
  25. I don't recall what I paid for the Prestige releases--that was over 30 years ago, and I was a teenager----but i do recall the flash, the soft plastic, and warped bodies. And the bad tires w/ out-of-round whitewalls. The Lincoln was especially bad IIRC. They were pretty disappointing releases, to get the silly plastic base and pen holder.
