1988 - 1991 Ford LTD Crown Victoria Scratchbuild
Rob Hall replied to DEL's topic in Car Aftermarket / Resin / 3D Printed
I've never driven a police spec one, but have driven many Grand Marquis and Town Car rentals over the years...always liked them, though it's too bad Ford never updated the cabin tech..they seemed very dated in spec. -
Well, more than that..the center post, there are door window frames, and the C-pillar shape is different---more upright, .the back window is different... I know there is at least one resin caster on here that was working on a '67 Biscayne 4dr sedan..looking forward to that.

Note that the Supernatural car is a 4dr hardtop, totally different roofline than a 4dr sedan that would be a taxi or police car. The '67 Impala 4dr ht was a really sharp looking car, IMO. With some different wheels and tires, a stock '67 can be done.

He was long one of my favorites..I got into F1 as a kid in the late 70s reading Road & Track and watching bits and pieces of races on TV. His comeback after 1976 was quite the triumph of human will and determination.

I think it's considered a May release. That list starts with June.

Are these the same kit?
Rob Hall replied to Spruslayer's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Same kit. Pretty sure it's 1/25th since it is of Revell origin and not Monogram origin. -
Got the Moebius Dyno Don Cyclone and a 2nd '66 Ford F100 step side.

Forum Software Upgrade -- Failed
Rob Hall replied to Dave Ambrose's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Good luck. Having been through many software upgrades professionally over the years, I’ve had ones that went very smoothly and some that have been disasters. At least it’s not at night like they usually are, but having to do it on a Holiday Weekend kind of sucks. -
What did you see on the road today?
Rob Hall replied to Harry P.'s topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Took a Sunday drive up along Lake Erie, saw a lot of interesting cars, esp. Pontiacs. Saw a black w gold striping ‘77-78 Trans Am and a gold ‘77-78 Trans Am about a mile apart, a mid 80s white Trans Am in a driveway, a shop w a restorable black 63 Grand Prix and primered ‘66 LeMans 2dr our front, a silver Solatice top down, and a dark red ‘04-06 GTO. Also a clean red ‘68 Camaro. -

I haven't spoken w/ Jeremy since late January, at that time he was dealing with ongoing health issues.

Beautiful day here in northeast Ohio also. Saw a sharp orange 68-69 Chevy C10 stepside pickup w/ the small rear window, a clean red w black top 72 Torino, and a red 70s Lamborghini Jarama I’ve seen a couple times before. -
Probably some sort of internal product categorization... the '69 GTX convertible, 'Old Pro' Nova, '70 Chevelle SS, ''77 Pinto are also listed as '2T' on Tower Hobbies...

From my lifetime, probably 1986, as that was when I got my driver's license and those were the cars I was around and driving in my formative years..also 1987..I still like a lot of mid 80s cars. From the past before my time, I'd say most any year between 1965 and 1971...great styling those years, and it was the muscle car era.

Glad I stuck w/ Model Roundup...I had preordered one from them in early April, got it last Saturday. Ordered another from them along w/ the Dyno Don Comet today, should have them next week.

I love Westies...we had two that passed away in 2011 and 2013. Wonderful breed. Dogs are definitely a big commitment...have 6 now--4 Yorkies and two terrier mixes, all rescues. They live inside but get a lot of time out the fenced backyard. Mac and Maddie..

This message I get when I try to upload a picture......
Rob Hall replied to mrmike's topic in How To Use This Board
Yeah, the other day I tried uploading 1/2 dozen pics (the Moebius 66 Ford kit parts), and only one uploaded, the others all had errors. The rest I had to put on my Fotki page and link to. -
I actually have one of those w/ various parts to do a '69 F100 short bed phantom Mach 1.

IIRC my Daisy Duke Jeep had an up top molded in clear. Not sure if it was the hardtop style or a canvas style like on the Bushwhacker box art.

In my old neighborhood in Phoenix, the yard guys often showed up at 7am in the summer before the heat became insane. Back in 2011 my next door neighbors did a major remodel of their house, and the construction guys would be out there hammering, etc at 5am as the sun came up in the summer... here, my yard guys usually come around noon to 1pm.
