  1. The Revell Yenko was just out in 2015 also in F&F livery.
  2. No regular bed. Though two styles of outer tailgate panels are on the trees.
  3. Nice box art..I assume it's a reissue of this, which was a modified version of the old MPC '69 and has an oddly shaped roof, among other issues.
  4. No idea. I didn't get mine from HL.
  5. Specifically, the AMTT868/12 '68 Camaro Z/28 Retro Deluxe reissue has a set of 4 Goodyear Polyglas GT F60-15 and a set of 4 Goodyear Polyglas GT L60-15 tires. All with white lettering.
  6. Got the Moebius '65 Ford F100 w/ service body and the Revell '57 Ford Tudor gasser today. Here are some pics of the service body parts... there also two outer tailgate beds, parts from future fleet side releases. And it has a V8 but there are some 6 cyl parts from the other releases.
  7. I saw maybe the oddest car chase in a show the other evening. It was between a dirty cop driving a '85 Mustang LX convertible being chased by two criminals in a Nissan Leaf across New Mexico. The Leaf eventually drained it's battery and the Mustang driver backed into it. The Mustang was specifically mentioned as being a 5.0, but had no 5.0 badges. This was in the Amazon streaming show 'Too Old to Die Young', a very long, very slow paced, very colorful, very violent and strange trip from director/writer Nicholas Winding Refn, the Dutch auteur that made 2011's 'Drive' (which had some decent car chases and a great soundtrack). The show reminded me of David Lynch at his oddest...
  8. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lilian,_Princess_of_Réthy
  9. Always wondered about the AHC-100 Camaro, never had one. I've only had MPC Camaros as far the '74 and later versions.
  10. Heh-heh..reminds me of some of the old worn out rusty trucks I see around here. Saw an S10 of that generation this morning with a loaded up bed and lots of rust..cab and bed didn't remotely line up..
  11. Not talking about just the built kit appearance, but the whole box art back then...so bland..blank background, little or no information about the kit on the sides, etc. Round 2 today puts a lot more effort into their box art.
  12. Yeah, so many of the AMT boxes of that era look like they put very little effort into the box art...very lazy...
  13. And it humorously says 'retouched photo of actual model'...they didn't retouch enough...doesn't even have a windshield.
  14. I think the Cutlass was also available w/ a 5spd in '78-79 (downsized A-body). I recall seeing a magazine road test of one, had a manual without a console IIRC.
  15. Yeah, I remember in the 80s when I was in high school they were everywhere...parents driving Cutlasses, 88s and Custom Cruisers, older people w/ 98s, kids driving handed down Cutlasses and 88s, etc..as common and mainstream as Toyotas are today.
  16. Sharp...like the period AZ plate and other details.
  17. Omni is part of Horizon, which bought Hobbico's RC assets IIRC. And they are in Champaign, Ill..
  18. Rainy afternoon, out running weekend errands, took a route home I normally don't go...saw an old Ultra Van RV sitting on a used car lot.
  19. I tried posting some, but got an error on each photo. Trying again, uploaded some pics to my Fotki account. It looks pretty much the same as the original issue, besides now being molded in white and the additional decals. Oddly the interior tub wasn't bagged.
  20. One set of tires and wheels. Options seem to be a push bar and roll bar for the bed
  21. I have a couple Cudas on preorder from Modelroundup...hopefully they will ship soon.
  22. Got the AMT Subaru Brat reissue today, looks like a neat kit. Expanded decals w/ gauge faces, has the 'Retro Deluxe' info decal on the box directly instead of the wrap as they usually do, odd. One small chrome tree w/ chromed headlights and taillights, wheels molded in white. Tires don't have any white lettering.
  23. Got the Brat today, looks like a neat kit. Expanded decals w/ gauge faces, has the 'Retro Deluxe' info decal on the box directly instead of the wrap as they usually do, odd. One small chrome tree w/ chromed headlights and taillights, wheels molded in white. Tires don't have any white lettering.
  24. That California Sunshine pickup would be really neat, never had that one.
  25. Pinto looks good. Simple kit, not a lot of parts, separate hatchback, only options are a CB radio and antenna.
