  1. Speaking of Mustang IIs, watched an old movie yesterday I hadn't seen in at least 30 years-- 'Starman'...there was a '77 Mustang II in that, orange w/ a tan interior and oddly the front and rear bumpers were painted black.
  2. I think the Brougham came out for '68....I think the plain sided LTD wagon came out for 1975 after the Galaxie 500 line was dropped...
  3. That photo has been seen around the internet for probably 20 years or more...would love to know the story behind it. A Falcon was abandoned decades ago in a forest and a tree grew up around it?
  4. The vent window frame is angled back too much.
  5. Snowing again today here also after a respite yesterday. Been coming down all morning. Looking forward to March.
  6. This site looks ok on my phone, but on my tablet it's so-so..
  7. Makes sense, print is an artifact of the past. I moved most all my magazine subscriptions to digital 5-6 years ago. Tablets and phones work for all those scenarios...I always have my phone with me, and my tablet most of the time.
  8. Ventura...chasing a Grand Ville...
  9. Looks like we had 6-8 inches overnight, already had a few inches on the ground. I may get the snow blower out later and try and clear the driveway, but since I work from home, not planning on going anywhere today...
  10. Not much yet here in the Cleveland area, but more to come in the forecast...I have piles of ice and snow in the center of my driveway from last weeks snow, been putting ice melt on it to reduce it some...24 hrs ago the driveway was clear except for the piles down the center.
  11. Those got really, really tiresome..along w/ months of triple digit temps...glad I moved out of AZ when I did.
  12. Yeah, same kind of forecast here. 5 snow days out of the next seven. Not worried, I work from home, have plenty of food, water, coffee, dog food, loads of TP, and two SUVs in the garage.
  13. Atlantis 1/32nd '56 Buick and '56 Cadillac are listed on Stevens, along w/ the 1/25th '57 Cadillac Eldorado Brougham.
  14. Here's another pic of 3 of mine, playing in my office, seen from my desk...the 14 yr old Yorkie Henry is having fun playing w/ the younger two...
  15. Yes, the MPC one seems to only exist in Pro Stock form (indeed last issued as the Fire Fighter), and the AMT Mustang II presumably still exists in stock form, last reissued in 2006 (blue box art car in the post above).
  16. Got the Tamiya McLaren Senna today along w/ the Tomica diecast from HLJ, got the others in the mail a couple days ago.
  17. Your Westies are wonderful...my sister had a pair that were long-lived. Wonderful dogs, great personality. We currently have two senior Yorkies, a Chi-terrier mix (the gray boy), and a Australian Terrier mix (the reddish dog). We had two other senior Yorkies that passed in 2019 and 2020. Yorkies Henry (14) and Ginger (12)... Beardsley (chi-something-something mix), age 7 Raine, an Australian terrier mix, age 7 Yorkies Zo (14) passed in April 2020, and Penny (14) passed in July 2019..
  18. The app w/ the PDFs works fine on my Mac. I can't open the PDFs directly outside the app (they are password protected).
  19. I have State Farm, I remember having a separate line item for glass in Arizona. I remember replacing windshields a couple times when I lived in AZ through my insurance. Speaking of car insurance, in 2017 when I moved from Phoenix to Cleveland my car insurance went down by over 50%, despite keeping the same insurance company, the same full coverage...and switching from a 17 yr old Jeep w/ 170k to a then-3 yr old Jeep w/ 25k (the insurance was much lower on the much newer Jeep). Mostly a difference between AZ and OH insurance costs, I'd assume.
  20. It’s a nice kit. Built several of them, the Shelby versions and stock 2+2, along w/ the convertible variations.
  21. Wild. Never seen anything like those headers...do they just vent into the interior, to poison the driver?
  22. Interesting that the Chevelle is a ‘70, but the MPC annuals were 71 and 72...
  23. Not really comparable, though...physical retail stores in malls are an obsolete concept from the past. They didn't adapt to the internet age and died (and the events of 2020 didn't help either).
  24. I keep my cell on mute and never answer it if I don't recognize the caller id. It's anyone real, they will leave a voicemail.
