Working on the '49 Chevy 3100 Suburban Woody Hood '49 Chevy 3100 Suburban Woody Hood just a shade wide at the cowl One cut and it just about fits perfectly! A drop of AC & hold it together... Snugged right up... Pretty good fit, so far! A little feathering on the corners... And, we have a pretty good fitting hood! Don't you think or don't you? -KK

Spent a little more time on the chassis and this is where you find out the difference between box stock and resin cast... the latter is often times mm's thicker in places. Had to do a mock up... hadn't set it up with the work so far done: both comin' and goin'! Oops! Just noticed the engine hatch needs to be opened up, pretty soon! going to have to flip the deck over and go to work! the stops will have to be removed and replaced to get the hatch cur open from the inside: Stay tuned! This is going to a street rod show down south in April and RRR has challenged me to getting these done. -KK

Nice to see someone doing justice to an under appreciated Model A Roadster kits! Yea, I have a couple planned, but have yet to pull the trigger. RRR has pre-ordered 4 of the promised re-released roadster kits! So, until we get our hands on the new/old kit, I'll just be watching you finish yours! -KK

Martin, thanks for checking back... my '33 has been placed on the back burner so I could catch up on a speed boat I was starting for a modeling buddy. In the process of working on it, he took a pass on finishing it! And, of course I had to have a tow vehicle! (check out: '49 Chevy 3100 Suburban Woody "On The Workbench") I'll be getting back on the '33 later this spring. -KK
