  1. Thanks Lawrence. I like that 240Z. I had two and got rid of them both. Just got the one back. Later-
  2. Got these in a trade with a new member here who doesn't come around much. Complete: Sealed inside: Brandy Spankin' New!!! Gotta get me more of this one. Later-
  3. My haul over the last few weeks: Got these two back from a kid I had given them to about a year ago. He still hadn't done anything with them. Both Complete. Got this in a trade with rustymodeler (Jerred): He had done some nice work. Reminds me of a Chevy Avalanche. More in the next post. Later-
  4. No problem. I Love it,but with over 800 pages, it takes a while to get through. IIRC a lot of the 70's vintage stuff is around the 200's. Later-
  5. Funny thing is that there was 36 bids on it. I'd be interested to see the bid history. Later-
  6. Disregard!! I just found it. http://www.flickr.co...s/80643375@N00/ Gotta love this link! Later-
  7. A while back there was a link on here to a site that had a couple hundred pages of photos from the 70's to current of lowriders and old photos of people. Does anyone remember what the link was? I thought I had it bookmarked but can't find it in my list.I tried looking through Google too but can't seem to come up with a link. I remember that there were 70's car show photos of the Gypsy Rose. Any help??? Later-
  8. How about a cut down window from the 55 Chevy pickup? it has curves on each end and is relatively easy to cut down to about half its height. Might be too wide though. Looking good. Later-
  9. I'd go with the gold with silver border on the cover with a purple stripe down the center. Sort of the opposite that you have on the body. Now that I looked at it again, just like you have on the roof. Looking great though. Keep it up. Later-

    1963 Vette

That looks great. Where did the tires and wheels come from? Later-
  11. I've got a buddy who does this using a similar method and the results always turn out beautiful. Some day I'll have to give this a shot. Don't forget to sand those treads for a used look. Later-
  12. I did this years ago with a gift card that was layered thin plastic over a paper core (?). I trimmed it down, painted it and glued it in place. The next day I noticed that either the paint or glue had seeped into the cut edge and had caused a slight bit of swelling along the edge. It isn't terribly noticeable, but it's there. I think this is a great idea. Just be careful that the card is all plastic so that the same doesn't happen to you. Later-
  13. NICE! Can't wait to get mine! Later-
  14. These are great looking kits and I've always thought about getting one. Now I really want one. Looking good so far. Later-
  15. Great looking Duster. I love the color. Too bad you had to sell it. I've always had a soft spot for them. We had a 73 Gold Duster when I was younger. Nothing special, but had a lot of fun in that car. Terry, thanks for the info on applying the decals. That's why I love this site. Ones always willing to help. Later-
  16. For as much as that kit is a turd, you made it look good. Nice job on the weathering. Later-
  17. Go Skeeter, Go! You're just about finished. George, it looks great. Nice and simple idea. You should be happy to show that at NNL. Later-
  18. Very Nice Jim. Beautiful color and custom touches throughout. Did you flip the grille or what? I can tell it's different but not sure how. The plate says CRAZY, not CRANKY. Later-
  19. Welcome John! Jump on in and enjoy the ride! Be sure and share with us what you're building. Here's some of mine. 67 GTX Street Freak 50 Ford Sedan 53 Ford Vicky Later-
  20. Bernard- You made the right decision to move the rear axle forward. It makes the build look much better. The balance looks more correct now. Keep it up. I like the work on the frame. Later-
  21. Wow Mike. Gonna have to get some of that Citrus Yellow. I never would have guessed from the stripe on the can that it would be that shade of green. Just what I'm looking for. Your build is looking good too. Later-
  22. Too Cool. Nice mix of custom parts and that interior is killer. Gotta print me off some interior patterns soon. Later-
  23. Nick (Winter) sent me one that he said I'd enjoy. It had a bikini clad girl in it (the paper, not the box). Got a chuckle out of it. Oddly enough-trades with Nick are going to go up now. LOL! Later-
  24. Erik- That build is sweet. Great color. I love the engine details. Where did you get such tiny hoses and how did you make the 90 degree bends in them where they enter the valve cover? Later-
  25. With all of the warnings and public service announcements out there it's sad to see that some are still smoking crack. http://www.ebay.com/itm/LINDBERG-1966-CHEVELLE-SUPER-SPORT-1-25-MODEL-KIT-MINT-FACTORY-SEALED-M3302-/200738577113?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2ebcf39ad9 All I can say is....I hope he gets what he's asking.
