  1. Thank you Misha. You should really like the next one I'm working on then. Thank you Tom. That stance was difficult to achieve. Later-
  2. Same here Lee. I appreciate it all. Very positive experience. Later-
  3. Got some work done on this thing this morning. Glass and interior is installed and I airbrushed the bumpers and grill with Molotow chrome. Now to let that dry a few days. Should be done by early next week! Later-
  4. I got quite a bit done today. Got the BMF done on my 49 Ford and got the glass and rearview mirror installed. Finished the dash and steering wheel for the 50 Ford and about half of the interior painted. I also got the chassis plate and engine block painted for my 63 Mercury Meteor. Later-
  5. That's looking really good Sam! Later-
  6. Cool. Thanks for the help. Now I'm able to tag them for future reference when I, or someone else, needs them. Later-
  7. #4 Says Ford Motor Company. I'm sure Chris had it right with the 70's Ford pickup wheel. Thanks for the help guys. I'm sure I'll have many more soon to ID. Later-
  8. I have some wheels that I need help identifying what kit they are from. Thanks. Later-
  9. Those both look amazing! Lots of tweeking to get those done. Can't wait to see the 41 done also. Later-
  10. Sometimes I do. I may have to do it on this one because of the white. I have some grey panel accent that I may mix with a bit of the white and a bit of the pink separately and see how it looks. Later-
  11. Thank you Carl! I actually just taped off the white and sprayed another coat of the pink. I had a couple of spots that I didn't like. Looks much better to me now. Into the dehydrator and BMF and clear tomorrow. Later-
  12. Thanks! I would have shot the white first too but it was actually an afterthought. I was going to go with Graphite metallic instead of the Pearl white. So, here it is. No bleed under and I don't think it looks half bad. Should be able to finish this by Friday or Monday. Later-
  13. I started painting this yesterday as a quick build while waiting on things for my other two projects to dry. Going to be just as intended, a Slammer with different wheels. I airbrushed Pure Ice "Free Fall" nail polish for the pink and HOK Plain White with a light coat of Testors White Lightning for the Pearl White. I'll be removing the tape in an hour or so. Hope there was no bleed under. Later-
  14. This is a JImmy Flintstone Resin based on the AMT Black Force Slammers kit. No build thread yet. May not do one since it is just a curbside build. I will definitely post it in Under Glass though. Thanks! It is a fingernail polish I bought a couple of years ago. Going to try a Pearl white upper section. Possibly a fade. Later-
  15. Got the BMF removed from the window frames of my 49 Ford this morning to re-do it. Got the windshield done. Also got some mail polish thinned and sprayed on this resin body. Going to tape off the top in the morning and spray the second color. Later-
  16. Wow! That is gorgeous!! Amazing detail work you're putting in to this. I enjoyed reading through this build to see all the little details, especially the magnets for the hood hinges. I've used those before on the hood and trunk lid on a Tamiya Beetle but never thought of using them the way you did for an open/closed hood. Great idea. Later-
  17. Thanks! Very helpful. I will read back through it and make some notes on a few different brands to try. Later-
  18. I'm looking to buy a set of drill bits (roughly #61-80) but I'm looking for a good set that will actually drill. A set that has a good, sharp tip. I've been trying to drill holes for the spark plugs wires on my engine. The sets I've bought recently take forever to get them to bore a hole! Does anybody know of a company making a set that isn't a cheap piece of garbage!! I'd prefer not to have responses such as "You get what you pay for" or "I bought a set 15 years ago that I'm still using." Those won't help unless the company is still selling the same set with the same quality. Unfortunately, the set I bought 20+ years ago that actually drilled a hole isn't made any more. Thanks for any info and/or links. Later-
  19. I like the work you're putting into this one. Lots of good ideas. Later-
  20. Great! Thanks for the info. Sam also sent me pictures of his built up Chevelle as further proof. Thanks guys. Later-
  21. These were what was already on the way. It's funny. I wasn't expecting the Caddy engine but it replaced the one I just gave you last week. Lol Later-
  22. I don't remember it having molded in headlights but I haven't looked at that kit in 25 years. Later-
  23. Does anyone know what kit this bumper comes from? I believe I have the rear bumper too but can't locate it right now. Later-
  24. Got these over the last couple of days. 69 SCJ Mustang, 69 Cougar Eliminator, spare body and hood for the 30 Phaeton, a 59 Caddy engine and uptop, and an unopened old stock Pactra Enamel in Pearl White. Later-
  25. That really turned out great John. You got me wanting to build another one of them with even more custom.mods than the last. Later-
