  1. Haven't seen mine yet. Probably being punished for living in Wisconsin...home of the late great SAE.
  2. What do you publish? I notice you are in Wisconsin.
  3. They did release a Corvette.
  4. I want to complete the long wheelbase Rolls Royce from the Hubley/MiniCraft 62 Rolls kit to replicate a car my boss owns, Start work on the Howmet from the two glue bomb cars and the CanAm roadster kits. Continue trying to make Canadian versions of the Ford Trucks and Chevelles and Novas. I really like the Beaumonts and the Acadians. I may attempt to make a stab at Meteors and Canadian Ford cars too. I have a 1/12 scale Cord I want to start this year as well....and so much more!
  5. OK, I really wanna know....How do I pronounce the word geegaws?
  6. As an automotive artist, I have to say that the drawing is definitely off on this one. The rear doors are short. The far side seems low to the ground like they are sitting on flat tires too. I understand perspective but these are just bad. I think the same artist did the little Chevy stake truck as well with the wrong body style cab. I might just draw up these cars and send them to Atlantis.
  7. We had a couple of Mercury dealers here that really sold the heck out of those so they were fairly common here. I see a few at shows these days. I remember the little two seat 90s Capri that was made in Australia and it was sold here. I did side work for Uptown Lincoln Mercury and everyone who bought from Uptown got a hand drawn ink and pencil art work of the car they bought. I did a few of those little two seaters. Uptown was also the local Bentley dealer and I drew two Bentleys in the two years I did that art for them.
  8. Got this bad boy today and I was the only bidder at 46 bux with 8 bux shipping....SCORE!!!
  9. This is just like the one I saw. White.
  10. I drew this BMW for a soon to be leaving radio personality and gave it to her today.
  11. I saw one of those Firebird clones made from a late model Camaro. Looked cool.
  12. I have this kit. I want to do an Acadian because of the plain grille work. Now seeing yours, it's got me more motivated.
  13. I have built this kit. Typical Tamiya quality and ease of build. I really liked the way it turned out but now I want to get another and follow your technique.
  14. I was speaking about the sign holder guy.
  15. There actually is in Smyrna. Family Hobby. Big into RC but they have models. In Nashville there is Hudson Hobbies. Not recommended unless you like cat pee and piles of garbage. I use Model Empire but I can visit that one in person, also Model Cave in Michigan is good. They got me a Heller kit that Model Empire did not have.
  16. You got the better gift. I suppose it also allows you to see if you over served yourself.
  17. Yeah, and how they make that job into a major career move when they show him taking to GF/spouse inside a nice home. Wow. Like one of those dudes would even have a GF.
  18. Anglia van with custom grille work. Ford product of Great Britian. Might be badges as Thames, same company
  19. I really do want one of these cars. Can't wait.
  20. Made similar karts when I was a kid.
  21. You need six tail lights on the Vette, per the song. ?
