  1. This is just like the one I saw. White.
  2. I drew this BMW for a soon to be leaving radio personality and gave it to her today.
  3. I saw one of those Firebird clones made from a late model Camaro. Looked cool.
  4. I have this kit. I want to do an Acadian because of the plain grille work. Now seeing yours, it's got me more motivated.
  5. I have built this kit. Typical Tamiya quality and ease of build. I really liked the way it turned out but now I want to get another and follow your technique.
  6. I was speaking about the sign holder guy.
  7. There actually is in Smyrna. Family Hobby. Big into RC but they have models. In Nashville there is Hudson Hobbies. Not recommended unless you like cat pee and piles of garbage. I use Model Empire but I can visit that one in person, also Model Cave in Michigan is good. They got me a Heller kit that Model Empire did not have.
  8. You got the better gift. I suppose it also allows you to see if you over served yourself.
  9. Yeah, and how they make that job into a major career move when they show him taking to GF/spouse inside a nice home. Wow. Like one of those dudes would even have a GF.
  10. Anglia van with custom grille work. Ford product of Great Britian. Might be badges as Thames, same company
  11. I really do want one of these cars. Can't wait.
  12. Made similar karts when I was a kid.
  13. You need six tail lights on the Vette, per the song. ?
  14. Truth. I ain't rich but all bills are paid and the larder is stocked with food before I spend anything on the hobby. Thems da rules set down by "She who must be obeyed; keeper of the royal purse and maker of whoopy time"!!
  15. And that can be a hit or miss. How many times I got the "Those get that price on Ebay" flapdoodle from sellers. They must like carrying those kits home every night. Are you selling or running a mobile museum? LOL...handling!
  16. Replacing that formal glass is no fun. The top has to be pealed off and you will find a Mark V glass on the fiberglass buck that is added to the roofline. That glass is held on with clips. Then the top has to be re attached which is akin to reupholstering that top. Expensive to do and not within the realm of do it yerself work unless you are skilled in that.
  17. Yes, from 83 or 84 possibly. I had the 83 with a more vertical formal roof and small rear window.
  18. I was on Ebay and just saw this one and the seller wanted $103.19 for it. It's a current kit for God's sakes. I was looking for a Renwal jordan kit to complete my collection of that series and the dude wanted to start bidding at $300...and it was a very glued up mess.
  19. XLNT job. Admire your Snake-fu abilities. In the words of every cheesy Kung Fu movie..." You possess great skills, sensei"
  20. God I'm getting old. I saw all the movies but I don't remember that VW. You'd think I'd remember something that over the top. Of course in those days I was pretty well into recreational pharmaceuticals .
